Welcome to Osprey House, Gulf front vacation rental-located on the North end of Anna Maria Island.
Located directly on the beach, this is the perfect relaxing and fun Florida vacation getaway. You can sunbathe in the tropical breeze or watch spectacular sunsets from your own porch.
This private and tranquil three bedroom, two bath home rests on a spacious deck that overlooks the Gulf of Mexico . Each beach themed room is comfortable, private and relaxing. Walk outside onto the sandy white beach to rest and swim. Or unwind on the balcony and take in the breathtaking view of the sand dunes and the blue waters.
Only a few blocks away, Pine Avenue offers many attractions including shops, seafood restaurants and art galleries. Stroll to the Rod N' Reel or City Piers for a bite to eat and take in the magnificent ocean view.
For adventure seekers, there are ample sporting opportunities. From fishing to kayaking or biking, Anna Maria island provides something for everyone to enjoy.

The very clean home is right on the beautiful beach. Communication with the owner couldn't be better. Location is close all Pine Avenue restaurants and shopping. It was well stocked with everything we needed. Towels and beach chairs were especially nice. We had a wonderful stay!

This place is great for our family. This was our second time here. Love the views. Love the location on the island. Does not seem as busy here on the north end. Only 120 steps to the water. Property is as described. Communication with host is great. Will come back again!

The property fit our style very well. No frills except the gorgeous views. Steps from the water and easy walk or bike ride to town. Very nice property owner.

Pros:
Located directly on the beach
Clear water and white sand
Near the point of the island where it is slightly less busy
Home seems to have been cared for and upgraded over the years - i.e updated kitchen
Owner was communicative
House was relatively clean with exception of downstairs shower
Cons:
Overwhelming musty, moldy odor upstairs that prohibited us from using the 2nd bedroom - did not go away after open windows and Lysol so could be a more serious issue
Coin-op laundry at $4 per load! Not only is it very pricey and not included in the listing that I noticed, but is extremely inconvenient to find an ATM and get change in order to be able to do laundry
House was not well stocked compared to many other rentals we have experienced - i.e. basic first aid, salt and pepper amongst several other things
Upstairs windows and screens need repair
Several lights in the house either do not work or need replacement bulbs
Not a con of the rental, but AMI was not our favorite spot we have visited on the gulf, a bit overcrowded and commercialized, but for many people this would be a pro I think
