In the centre of Montepulciano, in a central position, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet, in the heart of the city, traffic calmed area, in a pedestrian area. 300 m steep footpath to the house. Public car park at 200 m, public parking, extra. Shop, grocery 100 m, supermarket 500 m, restaurant, bar, bakery 100 m, café 100 m, pedestrian zone 20 m, 1 minute walk to the centre, bus stop 300 m, railway station "Montepulciano Scalo" 9 km, outdoor swimming pool 5 km, indoor swimming pool 5 km, thermal baths "Chianciano Terme" 15 km, bathing lake "Trasimeno" 20 km. Golf course (9 hole) 20 km. Nearby attractions: Pienza 23 km, Cortona 23 km, Siena 60 km, Orvieto 67 km, Montalcino 45 km. Please note: baby equipment (included). The lodgings were cute and cozy, with a lot of charm and a nicely functional kitchen. The second toilet is located downstairs, in the laundry room, just off the foyer. The location is good but the directions for finding it, not so much. The beds need new mattresses as there is a valley on one side, making for a very uncomfortable sleeping experience. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again if they have new mattresses.
