We had 17 family members stay at the house for a week. The house was great, plenty of space for all! We were close to the beach and to the sound, both just a short walk away.

We had a party of two families, a total of 13 people. It was perfect for us! We had ample bedrooms, the ammenities were just as described. The directions on how to operate the tvs and internet were clear.
Be advised that there are no standard items such as hand soap, garbage bags, napkins, paper towels, extra toilet paper.
There is a Kuerig type coffee maker. (It's an odd brand name, but works great!)
The walk to the beach was a bit far for us, as we had small children, but the parking lot was close, and we enjoyed the clean uncrowded beaches. Being less than a mile from the lighthouse and only 2 miles from the store, was very convenient. The owner is very good about responding to emails quickly. The property managers also responded quickly when we had a problem.
Would consider staying again.

Our friends were visiting from England, there are 13 in all! We wanted a place to vacation together. This was the perfect house for us. With 9 children, it was comfortable, perfect for our families!
Keith returns e mails quickly, and the rental management company was prompt when we had an issue.
Just to note, there are no staple items, paper towels, extra toilet paper, trash bags, napkins. Conveniently there is a food lion 2 miles away.
I also bought food from my grocery store at home (in VA) thinking it would be more expensive at the beach. To my surprise it was comparable.
We will stay again!

Looking for a large and spacious hangout for a family reunion or just a bunch of friends?? This place delivers! Not only is it close to the beach which offers hours of fun even if you're not in the water (our kids dug in the sand, jumped the dunes, and flew kites to their hearts content) but the home itself is seriously so spacious, with well stocked options for fun, like books and movies for kids and adults alike. As far as the rating goes, I only knocked off a star because we had some concerns about the safety of the playground and surrounding property for the children...my friend and I were vacationing with our 10 children combined so it was quite important. Luckily this property also boasts a Manager that is invested in the happiness of his renters. He was prompt in having someone assess the situation and get things taken care of. We left for home happy to have ventured down to North Carolina for the week.
