The beautifully designed, 6 Bluestone Point is a stunning two bedroom holiday apartment in Mortehoe, North Devon, which can comfortably sleep up to four guests.
6, Bluestone Point is a spacious, elegantly designed first-floor apartment overlooking the sought-after Woolacombe Bay, known for its stunning golden beaches and water sports. At the heart of the dog friendly is a striking 35-foot open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area, ideal for family get-togethers and socialising. The lounge is furnished with two generously sized sofas, a cosy armchair, a large smart TV, and a well-stocked bookcase filled with games for entertainment.
Double doors open out on to a private balcony, where you can soak in the captivating views of the sea and surrounding headlands. Accessible from both the living room and the master bedroom, the balcony is a serene spot to unwind and enjoy the fresh sea air.
The dining area comfortably seats four at a round table, making it perfect for casual dining. The contemporary kitchen is fully equipped with a range of fitted base and wall units, along with modern integrated appliances such as a gas hob with extractor, an oven, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, and a washer/dryer. There's also a breakfast bar, perfect for enjoying morning coffee or a quick bite to eat.
The apartment includes two generously sized bedrooms. The master suite is bright and airy with direct access to the balcony, offering stunning sea views. It features a built-in wardrobe, a dedicated dressing area, and a sleek, fully tiled en-suite wet room. The second bedroom, furnished with twin beds, also includes a spacious built-in wardrobe. The family bathroom is modern and fully tiled, featuring a bathtub, integrated mirrors, a low-level WC, and a hand basin.
The apartment is located just a short stroll from the village’s amenities' including a local village store, a post office, two traditional pubs, a church, takeaway options, and cosy tea rooms—the property is perfectly positioned. Mortehoe is surrounded by breath-taking National Trust landscapes, offering scenic coastal walks with spectacular views.
For parking, there is a large communal car park directly opposite the building, providing one allocated space per apartment, along with additional parking for visitors.

Very nice apartment well equipped , clean and warm . Great view and quiet location. The TV does not have any apps installed so no catch up TV available and some instructions about how to adjust the HIVE heating control would have been helpful . All in all a very pleasant stay .

We stayed here a year ago for a week and it had just been taken over by a new owner. We were very grateful to still be able to go on holiday there.
It’s a lovely property. Clean, comfortable and warm.
There are things that need updating of course and a couple of niggles that we found on both visits - very random but the provided oven tray is too big for the oven- absolutely pointless to have it available?!
And the “smart tv” does not work as a smart tv so if you are going to want to watch a movie on Netflix on an evening you can’t.
Aside from that it’s lovely and we would look forward to another visit. The sea view is lovely and the washing machine brilliant after a wet walk!

The apartment is perfectly located within the village. Beautifully clean and spacious. Everything you need is catered for a real home from home. Parking is fantastic and all host communications quick, detailed and helpful. Would absolutely return highly recommend.
