Just steps from the beautiful sandy shores of Lake Michigan and Laketown Beach and 10 minutes from downtown Saugatuck/Douglas and Holland, the Hummingbird Beach House has something for everyone to enjoy.

The Hummingbird Beach House is tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood at the top of its street, centrally located between Holland and Saugatuck/Douglas. It is the perfect location to enjoy the best of Michigan's beach towns while being steps from your own private sandy beach and lakefront escape.

Hummingbird Beach House offers parking for up to 4 cars. There are two parking spots available in the garage and two in the driveway. Please be mindful to remain parked on concrete.
Guest Access:
You will have access to the entire private property and grounds. With our keyless entry, you can enjoy a flexible check-in any time after the designated check-in time on your arrival date and guests can conveniently gain access via the smart lock.
The Neighborhood:
This home is located in a private residential neighborhood tucked away at the top of the street. You will enjoy nearby access to Lake Michigan and all the unsalted coast has to offer. Whether it’s spring, summer, fall and or winter, there is something for everyone to enjoy. From hiking and mountain biking to kayaking and paddle boarding, there are plenty of outdoor activities to choose from. And if you are visiting during the winter months, be sure to try out a wintery hike at the beach, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing along the lakeshore.
With streets made for biking, miles of sidewalks and paths this is an ideal spot to explore. Once you’re done exploring the outdoors for the day, experience a plethora of eateries and boutiques in either Downtown Holland or a short drive over to Saugatuck/Douglas. Enjoy being able to disconnect while still being a short drive into town and to the beaches of Lake Michigan.

Beautiful home. Incredible views and sunsets on Lake Michigan

Stunning view, tons of space, multiple large sitting areas for family games and meals, inside and outside. Amazing section of beach, not crowded, soft sand and clear water. I walked for miles in both directions and enjoyed the peaceful gorgeous views. All three generations loved it and said they would like to come back. The stairs are long but they are sturdy and thoughtfully done with a beveled and well sanded handrail and there is a nicely placed bench half way down for a rest. Our teenage and young adult sons ran them two at a time and enjoyed the workout, most of us were fine using them a couple times a day, the least active did not use them but were not beach people anyway and enjoyed the treehouse perch with beach and lake views and wave sounds from the deck and stunning tranquil views from many rooms of the house. The beds and furniture is all high quality and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. Enjoyed short trips into Saugatuck and Holland. Everyone enjoyed playing games and watching the sunset from the outdoor sectional each night. Great place to spend time with family and friends.
