About this apartment rental
A prime location of these unique lakeside condominiums in the resort community of Macatawa provide a unique setting where it easy to relax and enjoy life on the waterfront. The Harbor View Lofts are set in the top two floors of the former Piper Restaurant at Eldean Shipyard Marina and overlook the active marina.
HV#3, has many first-class features and amenities. The unit features 8 bedrooms and 5 full baths. A large Kitchen, Dining Area, and Living Room overlook the waterfront from the 2nd floor while a "Flying Bunk Room" give a birds eye view of the lake from atop the 3rd story. There are 3 waterside decks. Two master bedrooms, one 2nd and one on the 3rd floor, each have a deck off of the bedrooms. A main "grill" deck, also overlooks the Lake, and is located outside the second floor living room and is complete with a Weber gas grill and patio table & chairs. On the ground floor is a waterside patio/deck.
There is a shuffleboard table inside for fun and games!
Limited access is provided for use of the Eldean Marinas facilities during the summer season, including use of the Sand Volleyball Court, Pool/Hot tub use (maximum of 5 people at a time - no large groups), and use of the playground facilities. The pool and hot tubs are open Memorial Day Weekend through the weekend after Labor Day.
For the Boater, slips are available for an additional nightly fee at Eldean Shipyard. Kayaks, paddle boards, and pontoon boats are available to rent from MacAdventures.
There are discounts from the nightly rates when requesting a week or monthly stay.

Great place! We enjoyed our girls trip. The house was very clean, lots of space for all of us, soft sheets, comfortable beds and even a few extra basic necessities. We plan to book again, next year!

Fantastic property, loved it. Stairs to get in were a bit of a difficulty for some of our older family members, but once on the main floor they didn’t need to do steps again unless leaving. We would definitely stay here again!

The condo is beautiful and surprisingly quiet. We loved the views of the marina, especially the sunsets. Everything was clean. The HUGE drawback, that was enough to disrupt our whole vacation, is the ongoing lawsuit about the beach access! That was miserable. We absolutely should have been notified upon booking of the situation and been given the choice of canceling and booking elsewhere. We did not get notice till 3 weeks before. Our group was hassled regularly all week. (Our grandkids watched the adults disregard authority! what a horrible lesson for them!) We were told we could take an alternate route (over a large hill with more than 100 steps!) or drive to other beaches (where you pay to park). We booked here because of easy beach access! The beach is great so IF the lawsuit is settled and you are allowed to access the beach, we would recommend the place. Until it is done, we do not. We are still upset at the frustrations of our multigenerational family vacation.
