About this house rental
Set inside the gated Mauna Olu Estates community in Makaha Valley, this two-story home pairs quiet, 24-hour-secured surroundings with sweeping ocean and mountain views - all just a short drive from the beaches and hiking trails that make Oahu`s west side special.
Upstairs, the primary bedroom offers a king bed, two additional bedrooms each come with a queen, and a fourth bedroom is set up with a full bed and a twin trundle for extra guests - comfortably sleeping up to 9 across four bedrooms. Every bedroom has its own TV, and the full bathrooms are located upstairs alongside the bedrooms, with a convenient half bath downstairs for easy access during the day.
The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for home-cooked meals, whether that`s a big family breakfast or a quick bite before the beach. Outside, the landscaped backyard centers around a private hot tub with ocean and mountain views, a gazebo with string lights and lounge seating around a fire pit table, a dining area on the back patio, and a gas grill for barbecuing. Beach days are covered too, with towels, a cooler, chairs, and sand toys typically on hand, and the driveway comfortably fits up to four vehicles.
From the moment you arrive, the home feels spotless, well-stocked, and genuinely welcoming - the kind of place where everyone finds their own corner to relax, whether that`s the hot tub, the fire pit, or the shared patio table. It`s an easy fit for a family reunion, a milestone celebration, or a group of friends who want space to spread out without sacrificing togetherness.

Smoke-Free Home – For everyone`s comfort, please no smoking inside the house.
Peaceful Vibes Only – To keep things calm and enjoyable for all, parties and events aren’t permitted.
Registered Guests Only – Overnight stays are reserved just for those on the reservation. If you`d like to have someone over, just check in with us first.
Respectful Quiet Hours – Please keep noise to a minimum from 10 PM to 8 AM out of respect for our neighbors and the community.
Furniture Stays Put – To keep things in great shape, please don’t move big furniture or take indoor pieces outside.
Shoes Off, Aloha In – Kindly remove outdoor footwear inside to help keep the floors clean and comfy.
Pet-Free Property – As much as we love animals, this home is pet-free to keep it allergy-friendly.
Report Damages – Accidents happen! Please let us know right away if anything breaks so we can take care of it.
Mahalo for Taking Out the Trash – Trash is picked up on Tuesdays. If you’re here for a while, helping with that keeps things fresh.
Keep it Legal – Let’s all stay on the right side of the law.
Energy Aloha – Please turn off lights, AC, and appliances when not in use to help us conserve energy and protect the island.
Hot Tub Care – Enjoy, but please supervise keiki and keep the cover secured when not in use (helps keep it clean and safe from wind).

The home is beautiful and well-stocked. The view from the backyard is breathtaking, and at sunset it's unreal. The amenities on-site gym/pool were close and easy to use. Definitely will book again.

This is a beautiful house in a gated community. The views are phenomenal. Nearly every day there was a rainbow along the mountain ridge. Excellent hosts who were very helpful, quick to respond to questions and also provided great suggestions (Thanks for the farmers market suggestion!). The house was the most well appointed of any rental we’ve ever had. If you choose to stay here the nearby Makaha Beach was a great place to snorkel right off the beach. We swam with sea turtles and beautiful, colorful tropical fish.

House is new and has more than anyone could possibly need! Nice location away from everything elevated with a great view! Yes the hot tub sold me on it and was perfect for a get away in Hawaii! Host always messaged back in short time and also gave many locations to visit! Thank you again and highly recommend!

Kerstan is an amazing host who responded to our questions and needs tinely. The unit was very clean, and the backyard is like an oasis for the family and kids to enjoy! We got everything we need here !
