The Village Holiday Apartments at Burleigh Heads

Location was amazing, with every thing you could need right at your fingers tips.

Kitchen items were very minimal (in the apartment we were in anyway) eg 1 wine glass, terrible water glasses that were mostly plastic cups, everything was random bits and pieces. No beach towels provided.

Perfect location!!

Bed in main bedroom was hard as a rock and not having a lift with a baby in a pram was also pretty difficult

Fantastic location with walking access to tram, bus or taxi to airport, walk to Burleigh Heads Beach and James St shops. Room was recently updated with new furniture.

Cockraches both big and smal ones in drawers, cupboards, bedrooms and bathrooms. The noise of renovations was terrible. Both from general maintenance and also from a non scheduled appartment above. When reported to staff they said no renovations are happening, yet every morning at 3-4am there was happering and nails dropping with machines like a floor or wall sander staring at 8am. A second report to staff yeilded no response nor feedack despite request. Council also worked on a footpath, every single day we were woken! And Fri-Sat nights happy noise from pubs and food locations was audible. So being walking distance does have its diadvantages if you are looking for quiet.

The location of the property is great! Close to amazing restaurants and the beach is across the road.

The property needs a proper deep clean when people leave. Our blankets hadn’t been washed, very dirty and smelly. Couch was very smelly and the carpet just needs to be removed. I had to buy a candle to cover up a not nice smell from the moment we arrived. Also this apartment has no lift, I missed this when booking so be prepared to carry your stuff up stairs.
