About this house rental
From the StarFish's front door to Pass-a-Grille Beach is a one-minute walk. The bay is about a minute the other way. That location is the whole show, and it is a good one.
These Bungalows have won Traveller Review Awards three years running, 2024, 2025, and 2026.
I grew up on this property. My family has been on this corner since the early 1980s, and the StarFish is the one I recommend to couples. One real bedroom with a queen bed, an updated kitchen, a dining area by the windows, and a pebble-floor shower that feels wonderful on beach feet.
THE HONEST PART
The sofa bed sleeps two more, so four can stay, but the StarFish is snug at four. Two people have all the room they need.
OUTSIDE
Beach chairs and gear are included. There is an outdoor shower for sandy feet, and out front is the communal pavilion all four Bungalows share, with covered seating and a grill. It is not a private patio, and it is friendlier that way.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
Pass-a-Grille is 31 blocks long and walkable end to end. Dinner and shops are on 8th Avenue, the sunset piano is at Paradise Grille, and the bay is a one-minute walk if you want to fish or watch for manatees. The dog beach is 5 to 10 minutes on foot, and dogs are welcome for $100 per pet.
One free parking spot is included, and the linens are the good kind. We live close by and answer texts in minutes. Nightly, weekly, and monthly stays welcome.

The location was perfect. Just steps to the beach. The outside area was great for relaxing with a good book and catching up with my girlfriend. Pass-a-grille is the perfect place to stay for a quiet beach stay. Planning on returning next year.

Cute property, great location. My adult daughter and I stayed here and loved it. We enjoyed the outdoor lounge areas and loved walking to the beach multiple times per day. We'd love to come back!
