About this apartment rental
I, Rubi, am a vacation rental in the World Heritage city of Stralsund, home to numerous museums, Gothic brick buildings, and the beautiful Baltic Sea beaches nearby.
I’m easy to reach, since all major highways—no matter where you’re coming from—run right past me. If you book me, I can help you get from here to Rügen, Hiddensee, Fischland-Darß, and other beautiful destinations. There’s even a public swimming area right here in Stralsund. It’s not hard at all, since I’m also a transportation hub. Plus, I’m cozy. Oh, and my owners woke me up from my “hibernation” in 2006 and completely renovated the living area in 2024. Now I’m as good as new! There are two bedrooms, a living room with a kitchenette (featuring a pull-out couch that sleeps two), and a bathroom. Solar-powered blackout blinds ensure comfortable temperatures in the summer and protect against direct sunlight. Everything you need for relaxing short trips or longer vacations—I can definitely offer it to you. By the way, we also have a solar panel system on the roof, for sustainability. We sort our trash into paper, plastic, organic waste, and general waste.

It was our first booking using VRBO.
We were very comfortable and couldn't be happier about the location--walking distance to Stralsund HBF, Grocery stores like Lidl, Aldi. The host was extremely attentive. Everything was as advertised.
I would recommend this to anyone and we will be back. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday and didn't want to go home.

We stayed here recently while visiting for a sports tournament. The rooms were great and clean, and our host was incredibly helpful and friendly. It's a bit of a walk to the train station, but the bus is literally right across the street and can get you anywhere in Stralsund you need to go. I definitely recommend it!
