Romantic Cabin for Two! 12 miles to Schlitterbahn/New Braunfels, Gruene Texas.

The property was very beautiful on the river with a nice sturdy dock. Cabin was exactly what we were looking for. Clean, modern appliances with a big porch and a covered barbecue area with hammocks. All and all one of the best rentals we have seen from Vrbo. Would definitely recommend it.

This was a fantastic house that had everything needed to not have to leave. We made our Christmas dinner in the house and enjoyed the day in peace.

Really loved this little cottage! Very private and Peaceful. It's perfect for a couples weekend with room for a couple of children. Close to alot of activities. Less than 30 minutes to Gruene/New Braunsfel. We went to the rodeo and steakhouse in Bulverde on Saturday night. It was a little less than an hour away. This would be a really good spot during the summer with the Guadalupe in the back yard. We will definitely stay again.

I stayed in April and could not wait to get back. This is truly an amazing property. It was perfect for relaxing, fishing, and just getting away. I would recommend for a romantic get away or a small family trip. The host was very accommodating.

My husband and I stayed with our two doxies to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was the perfect little getaway:) Quiet home off the river with everything we needed :)

We had a wonderful time. The place was really clean and well kept. Easy access to the river and we really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Loved it!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. This little gem of a house was perfectly situated on the river with great finishing access from the dock. We cannot wait to book again.

I loved the early check and late check out. This place exceeded my expectations of a small cabin. It was cozy and perfectly laid out. The back porch to the fire pit to the dock by the water was so accessible and easy to get to. The home has great communication and so available if you need ANYTHING while staying at the cabin. I will mostly definitely returning to this cozy spot!

There were so many little touches and small details at this property, that it really stood out because of how thoughtful the owners are. The place was so clean, cute, and comfy! It had everything we needed and was a lot of fun. I will say the photos make it look very secluded but that is not the case. There is only a fence on one side and the rest is wide open with several other properties and docs very close. We got lucky that no one else was really around this past weekend as we wouldn’t have been able to let our dogs roam free had other people been around. The porch and outside amenities are amazing, and Segin close by is super cute.

This was an awesome spot! The cabin was big enough to accommodate a family that spent 10 hours of our days outside. The yard and the trees were impressive to say the least! A couple 100+ year old Cypress right next the dock offered all day shade that was greatly appreciated during the summer days. The property and street were so quiet, it was amazing to come back from a long day at Schlitterbahn to a quiet property and enjoy the river night with the family. Great accommodations by the owners as well. I’ve saved this property and we plan on coming back.

We stayed at the cabin for three nights in June, super relaxing, beautiful setting out the back onto the river. Very nice cabin, well furnished and everything you need! Thanks y’all!

Peaceful retreat, 2 days was not enough.

Stayed the weekend here with my boyfriend who loves to fish. Chose this site because it was one of the only ones I could find with private dock access. The cabin itself is on the smaller side, but it is set up very well and had everything we need. The outdoor section covers two lots and felt so spacious. We spent a lot of time outside by the fire pit. We could tell the owners put a lot of thought and detail into making it a great experience. It was hard to leave, and we will definitely return to stay again in the future. Thanks for a perfect weekend!

Just 5 mins off I-10 and yet very peacefully situated on the Guadalupe River! Yeah, the road going in passed some not-so-promising adventure (railroad facility)…but once you turn in to property it’s a whole new world! The cabin is well thought out, furnished explicitly and the little touches they made is what impressed me…like the All-Clad skillets, stainless steel mixing bowls, and even a digital thermometer for grilling! (But, I’m a kitchen guy and an 80 yr old Marine who loves cooking & grilling). Great view when you wake up for coffee on the patio or down by the water…or, an evening cookout at the covered picnic area with charcoal grill and a string of patio lights! Like I said, everything was well thought out! I was even able to use my own Netflix account to watch some old classic movies! My rescue/service dog Lily simply loved the place as well…and was welcomed! Great place, great owners, and great location! BTW..someone commented that, “it isn’t exactly The Hilton!”…and, they were right…I’ve stayed at Hilton’s all over the world…and this is BETTER! Enjoyed our 4 days in Almost Heaven!

The place was perfect for a family of four. Cleanliness was A+ and the spaces inside were beautiful. It had that indoor/outdoor living feel with a beautiful view of the Guadalupe River. Plenty of space to run around outside and do outdoors. Definitely a place where you can go to relax, unwind, and get, away from electronics for awhile.

My family of four stayed for a weekend and absolutely loved it. The cabin was perfect and so clean. The yard was amazing and the short walk to the dock made mornings great! We caught big catfish and saw lots of wildlife. We absolutely cannot wait to come back! 11/10 recommend!

On a visit to the San Antonio area, my daughter asked to stay somewhere “in nature” so we booked this just outside the city. It was very clean and comfortable and the kids had an absolute blast. We had everything we needed for a bbq and the kids were occupied all day fishing, rolling in the hills, and playing badminton. The kids bunkbeds are inside of the main bedroom and we ended up really liking this. Overall a wonderful weekend!

This is a nice very nice cabin. The hosts have literally paid attention to every possible detail when it comes to accommodating their guests’ needs. We are hosts ourselves and we were very impressed. Nice layout, perfect for a couple, or a family of 4. We arrived at night and the very first time It might be tricky to find in the dark. The road will make a zig-zag right over some railroad tracks. Right, then back left and you are right at the driveway. There is a smaller barn/garage in front and the cabin is in plain sight behind it with a Texas flag on the front. No, there were very few trains and they were quiet when they did run. This was definitely NOT an issue. There is a ‘hidden’ bedroom right off the master with discs for clothes and a nice set of bunk beds. Plenty of seating in the main living area with 2 very comfortable reclining sofas. Well equipped kitchen. All appliances and extras (even an air fryer). Very nicely designed bathroom and shower. The back porch is to die for. It is very large, plenty of seating whether you want chairs or a table to eat a meal. The lot appears to be at least an acre - tons of room. Nice picnic/bbq area. Nice dock as well. There are too many amenities to list but trust me, if you want it, the owner probably provides it. I should note that the pictures on this listing honestly are 100% accurate. No photo tricks. We loved the cabin. The craftsmanship of the upgrades was excellent. The cabin had everything we needed and was very cozy and clean. We will be back.

Lovely small cabin with peaceful lake/riverside access. We enjoyed fishing with our 4 yr. old granddaughter and making great memories.

Place was really relaxing , clean and cute. The only downside was the train rail in front of the house. There was a vagón in front of the house when we arrived , kind of noisy and disturbing . Hopefully after that we didn’t see it anymore . Hard to find the house though, there is not number , had to look for the picture of the house posted . Good communication with the owner 😉

We had an awesome time. Very nice place. Fishing and riding kayaks was peaceful. Grilled out and had a great time. Awesome pier to fish off of or jump in to swim. A lot to do here. Everything you needed or wanted was there. Want to come back again soon. We travel frequently in the summer and the kids want to come back and said this was their favorite place. Love this place.

Property was very clean, well taken care of, nicely decorated, and a great place to stay the weekend at for my family and I. We enjoyed every second of our stay and would recommend this property to everyone looking for a quiet, beautiful stay.

We loved our stay at this little cabin. It was perfect for our small family. Very clean and peaceful. It was close to all activities we had planned. Our dog, Chase, said it was the best vacation he ever had! We had one question before we left and owner was very responsive. We hope to return soon!

Perfectly clean little cabin over looking the river. Great views even with the water down. Great porch. Owners thought of everything you could need. Was only 20 minutes from the Comal. New appliances. Big grill. Smart TV.

We stayed at this little cabin for our anniversary with our baby in tow. It was perfect. So peaceful, so cute and clean. We loved how beautiful the property was and used the grill to make a wonderful steak dinner. The hosts were so thoughtful and had nice little touches throughout the cabin. We will definitely stay here again!
