About this farm stay rental
This attractive 3 storey farmhouse has recently been beautifully restored by its English owners to a very high standard. Matilda is set in a peaceful 3 acre meadow in the foothills of the beautiful Sibillini mountains. It has a large private pool which is set in a stunning elevated position overlooking the house and meadow. Matilda is well suited to families, with a children's large playframe and trampoline available for guests use. The pretty hill town of Penna is just 5 minutes drive from the house and provides local services including a great pizzeria. The nearest large town is Sarnano, which has a thermal spa and is a ski resort in the winter. Good restaurants are located near the house in San Angelo in Pontano and Monte San Martino. The unbroken sand beaches of the Adriatic coast are a short drive away. The nearest resort being the marina town of Porto San Giorgio, just 40 minutes away. Ancona Airport is only approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Matilda.

This is a fantastic, huge farmhouse in a very peaceful area surrounded by beautiful countryside. The swimming pool is huge and it was amazing to swim and spend lazy days around. Check in and communication throughout our stay was excellent. The farmhouse and pool were spotlessly clean, and the kitchen and barbecue area allowed us to cook and eat easily.It's a 5-minute drive up to the small town of Penna San Giovanni which has everything you need - a restaurant, bar, supermarket etc. It's a beautiful village; everyone was incredibly friendly and keen to help. It's an amazing place to stay and unwind, waking up to the birds singing in the morning. I can definitely, highly recommend staying here.10/10. Thank you

This is an amazing property in a peaceful location surrounded by stunning countryside. Our check in and communication throughout our stay was excellent. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook and eat easily without having to go out anywhere. Be advised that because of the stunning and remote location, a car is essential. Loved it!

The farm house has a big pool and enough place for 11 people. The location is about 50 minutes away from the nearest beach.

Casa Matilda was everything we had hoped for and more.
It's location, size, character and charm. A real family friendly property set in a wonderful valley just a stones throw away from Penna San Giovanni, which dons some lovely restaurants and shops as well as fantastic views. My family and I absolutely loved staying here for our week in August. The spaciousness of the place, the amazing climate and not to forget a swimming pool to die for. Already re-booked for 2016 as my children often talk about their fond memories of their stay at Casa Matilda.
