Maner Lodge located in Doss, TX is the perfect romantic getaway. It is located 30min from beautiful downtown Fredericksburg. The cabin sits up on a hilltop where you can come and enjoy the beautiful scenery and tranquility of the log cabin. You will experience a wonderful encounter with the wildlife such as the white talk deer or maybe even some Rio Grande turkeys. The cabin is located on a hilltop with an awesome view and is flavored with a Southwest Texas charm and is topped off with Hill Country beauty and hospitality. If you are looking for a quiet romantic getaway this is the cabin for you.
The Maner Log Cabin is fully equipped with Full Kitchen, Well Stocked Kitchen, Central H/A, Fireplace (some wood is furnished for your use during the winter), Ceiling Fans, Cool porch, Picnic Table, Charcoal BBQ Pit.

I brought everything I needed as far as food so I wouldn’t have to leave. You get cell phone signal, but there’s no cable or satellite but they do have a TV with the DVD player. I just enjoyed being unplugged from the world for about three days. It’s peaceful. It’s quiet and bring a book because you can pass the whole day just sitting in theRocking chair reading a book

Wake up early and watch the sunrise off the front porch. The fresh air, beautiful grounds and natural outdoor sounds make this place awesome. Not to far from Fredericksburg it was a nice place to stay away from the noise and the business of the city.
