About this house rental
The house is spacious and attractively located in the middle of a landscape conservation area. It offers an incomparable view of the expanse and the sea. In the distance you can see Lisbon and the Tagus estuary. The large garden (4500 sqm) with barbecue area and the terraces invite you to relax.
Two bakers in the village offer fresh bread every day and the village fisherman offer freshly caught fish almost every day. In the village shop you get the most necessary (1.5 km), in several supermarkets (12 km) or in Sesimbra (12 km) you can do the big shopping. In the excellently equipped kitchen with a 4-burner induction cooker, amateur cooks and cooking professionals have every opportunity.
The beaches nearby are diverse, from the 20-kilometer-long sandy beach that stretches almost to Lisbon, to lagoons with shallow water for small children, to the rocky coast with small, quiet bays and crystal-clear water. You can hike along the rocky coast with very beautiful views.
Sesimbra, the old fishing town, offers a wide range of leisure activities, from kayak rentals to diving schools and boat rentals. Numerous small restaurants and cafes spoil their customers.
Lisbon is just under an hour's drive away. There are many other excursion destinations, for example: Cabo Espichel (an old monastery on cliffs), Sintra with its gardens and its fairytale castle, the Arrabida (a nature reserve with great views of the sea), the Troia peninsula, in front of which dolphins are often seen are.

We loved our time at Ursula’s property. The house is situated in the middle of nature, yet just a short drive away from all amenities, characterful small towns, great beaches and within easy reach of Lisbon. The property was clean, very spacious and felt like a home away from home. Communication was a dream with copious information of house, surroundings, places to eat etc. being provided upfront, which showed us even before arrival that the owner really does care.

Highly recommend this beautiful home for families ... a kitchen well-equipped with quality appliances and an abundance of dishes, pots, pans in the kitchen and two convenient and cozy dining areas including the spacious enclosed patio/sunroom; plenty of comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Located in a quiet countryside in the village of Azoia but still close to the beaches (Meco was our favorite), Sesimbra, Arrabida, wineries, Sintra, Lisbon and excellent restaurants. Highly recommend going to Cabo Espichel which is just down the main road, about 5 minute drive from the house. Lots of walking trails with spectacular views, especially at sunset are there! But you can always just enjoy the sea breezes, fresh air and sunrises/sunsets from the outdoor garden, terraces and enclosed patio area of this perfect home. Ursula was so responsive, always available for our questions, sending us info on restaurants, sites, beaches, grocery markets, the home, etc before our arrival and even having someone meet us at the house upon our arrival and providing the directions to another secluded beach using the trails near the home. Superb location and lasting memories! Obrigada to Ursula and family for the perfect home base for our family vacation in Portugal!! Deb, Louie, Jen and Jay :)

We really had a very nice time in this beautifully located house. The view is absolutely stunning! The house its self has everything you need. Great beds, well equipped kitchen and spacious rooms. There is a nice orchard in the garden and the vicinity is inviting to go for walks.

We enjoyed our stay in this house very well located in a quiet countryside and not far from the beaches (we could even walk to one of them) and Lisbon (40 minutes drive). We particularly appreciated the terrace when we had all our meals, and the sunsets in this place, with a view on the ocean. The house is very well equipped, especially the kitchen, which is a also a good point for us who love to cook. Furthermore, the owner gave us before our arrival all the information we would need for our stay. We highly recommend this house.
