About this house rental
The Manatee Bay has the best of all worlds. It has a large custom fiberglass pool situated next to a 20 ft+ deep and beautiful swim able and fish-able lagoon. The Lagoon is filled with all sorts of different wildlife, including an occasional manatee, turtles, and all sorts of fish. It is the perfect place to learn to Paddle Board, Snorkel, or Kayak. There is Quick access to the open Gulf at the end of the lagoon, with a large dock out into the deep water with room for 3 boats. The back deck of the manatee that overlooks the lagoon is gigantic, plenty of space for socializing and taking in the view, or getting a suntan. It also shades part of the pool so that you can enjoy some of the pool even after you have had enough sun. The manatee even has a heating system for the pool, one side of the deck is totally screened so that nothing can interrupt your good time.
The open floor plan of the Manatee Lagoon is great for large parties; the big great room and open kitchen make a perfect location for spending your vacation during meal times. The underneath of the home is totally open for covered parking out of the Keys Sunshine. Marathon License #PLR2003-00134

We have a great pool table by the pool, perfect for keeping an eye on those little ones while unwinding after a hard day of play on the water. There are so many neat creatures in the lagoon to see at the Manatee that you will be amazed. It is the perfect place to Kayak, Paddle Board or Snorkel, that is why we include Kayaks with the rental.
We also offer the lowest price in boat rentals for your weekly trip to the Keys. They range from a 17'-28' Boston Whaler, 4 stroke yamaha outboards. They are delivered right to the dock and picked up at the end of the week.
*****Check in 4 pm, check out 10 am. *******We supply the first roll of toilet paper and a roll of paper towels. Pls bring soaps and paper products with you. There is a Publix and Winn Dixie about 2 miles down the road.

Adam and Wendy are always great hosts. Hot Tub went out and he came right out to fix it, unfortunately beyond repair. We caught monster snapper off the dock. We even jumped a 100lb tarpon, and landed a 5 foot nurse shark off the the dock. Always a great location at a great place. 4 time there, 5th time renting from AdamWithout issues.

Similar to other feedback, repairs and or upgrades needed. The property manager informed us a day ahead of reservation that jacuzzi was not working. I had appreciated the heads up. Great location, pool and dock. House was clean in the main foot traffic areas and beds comfortable.

Can't say enough great things about this rental. First off the location is amazing with lots of fish and birds nearby with kayaks to explore the area. Couldn't really have asked for a better experience and will consider staying again.

The location itself is nice and close to everything. The heated pool and hot tub were great, especially due to the chilly weather we had while there. The A/C worked great. The house definitely could use some TLC- the recliners in the couches don’t work, there is junk sitting under the house that should be removed, tile has chipped off the pool, the fence around the pool is not sturdy, not all wall sockets function, and the plumbing could use some work. Property manager responded quickly to an emergency that occurred. Good price point for marathon but what you pay is what you get.
