Located on the Gulf side of Marathon, Yellowtail Retreat offers quick access to the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico while remaining conveniently close to restaurants, shopping, beaches, and attractions throughout the Florida Keys. Whether you're planning a fishing trip, boating adventure, family vacation, or simply looking to relax in paradise, this home provides the perfect home base.
Boaters will appreciate the protected canal location and approximately 30' of dockage available for guest use. From the dock, it's a short ride to open water where world-class fishing, snorkeling, diving, sandbar trips, and waterfront dining await. Pet Friendly. One well-behaved dog weighing 50 lbs. or less is welcome with prior approval and applicable pet fees.
Age Requirement. The booking guest must be 25 years of age or older and occupy the property for the duration of the reservation.
No Smoking. Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property.
Mid-Stay Cleaning. For extended stays, periodic cleaning may be required and billed separately.
Florida Keys Environment. The Florida Keys are a tropical environment where guests may encounter insects, wildlife, and other natural elements despite routine pest control efforts.
Construction Notice. Nearby construction, roadwork, or renovation activity may occur without notice and is beyond our control.
Security Cameras. For the safety and security of our guests and property, two exterior security cameras monitor the parking area and boat lift. The cameras are for security purposes only and do not monitor any private interior or outdoor living spaces.

The host was great in communication. The home was very clean and inviting. As it being a pet friendly home, every once in a while you could smell wet dog in the living room area. Im guessing from the throw blankets and area rug.The little things were above and beyond the other vrbos we have been to, such as the kitchen having so many essentials, the bathrooms even had toothpaste and toothrushes along with soaps.The lower outdoor space was very relaxing and had an ice machine, beach towels, and the pool was bigger than we thought it would be. We appreciated that it was heated as the weather was cold, windy, raining for most of our stay.

Hands down the best vacation rental we have ever stayed at. Very clean and tastefully decorated and furnished. In excellent condition as well. It was so comfortable to hang out and just relax both in the house as well as outside under the cabana. We enjoyed the kayaks. We didn’t use the bikes or pool but this home has SO much to offer. The location was close to Sombrero Beach and Crane Hammock which we loved. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to prepare food including spices and such. Can’t say enough good things to finally stay in a place where the reviews actually matched our expectations!

What a great week! The house was beautiful and met our needs perfectly. Well equipped kitchen and the bathroom amenities were a nice touch. The beach chairs could use an upgrade but we made due. We were a little early for the fruits but seeing the baby pineapples was so cool. Marathon is a great central key location for visiting all the keys and has some great beaches - Sombrero. Coco Plum, Bahia Honda (this was our favorite)
