D52 Apartman Hotel

Location was perfect. I liked there were two separate bathrooms.

There was tons of dust and rubbish under the bed. There was nothing to clean the floors with. I had a crawling baby and a toddler and we were there for 5 days so naturally there was dust, hair and crumbs all around. I simple dust bin and brush would have been sufficient to help us clean. Also an additional set of bin bags and a sponge for the sink would have been appreciated.

Apartments D52 is a great choice for a stay in Budapest, located in a modern building right in the heart of the Jewish Quarter. The location is excellent, with bars, restaurants, shops, the city center, and the metro all within walking distance. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Access was very easy using the codes provided before arrival, which made check-in completely hassle-free. Another big advantage is the garage in the building, with four parking spaces available to book in advance for 25 Eur per day, which is especially convenient if you’re traveling by car. Overall, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Our main issue occurred on our last evening. We tried to use the toaster provided in the apartment, which immediately blew a fuse and left the entire apartment without electricity. Unfortunately, the support number provided with the booking could not be reached, so we had to spend the entire night without power. We eventually received a message the following morning explaining that the person responsible had fallen asleep, but no practical assistance was provided until around 11 AM, when we were told that the cleaner would come and look into the issue. We were lucky this happened on our final evening, but having no way to reach someone in an emergency and being left without electricity for so many hours is, in our opinion, unacceptable. When paying for accommodation, we expect at least a basic level of support when something goes wrong.
