Luxurious Elizabeth St Residence with Sauna

The property is spacious and well equipped. A wonderful space in a great location, close to all the local amenities. Also, great communication with the host.

It is a neat, modern and well-equipped house located not too far from the city center, with a SPAR, Rossmann, and a tram stop nearby for convenient shopping and transport. It even has a sauna, which is great to have, though we didn't use it.

We specifically booked this apartment because we were a group of 5 people and needed two functioning bathrooms. Unfortunately, one of the bathroom/toilet doors had a completely broken handle and could not be locked from the inside. Because of this, whenever someone needed to use that bathroom, we had to lock off the entire room it was attached to, which was extremely inconvenient for everyone. On top of that, the showers are in desperate need of a deep cleaning. The water sprays out in random directions rather than a steady stream, so you have to be very careful to avoid making a mess. The beds were also not comfortable, especially in one room where the frame was so severely squeaky that the second someone moved or got up, the entire bed would literally scream. Check-in was another issue. While the manager sent the main gate code in advance, it did not work on the actual apartment door. Upon arrival around 8:00 PM, we had to call the provided Hungarian phone number just to get the actual entry code. We were lucky someone actually answered at that hour, or we would have been stuck outside. Lastly, the management needs to think that guests are completely new to the space and won't automatically know how everything works. There were zero instructions provided on basic things like trash disposal or checkout expectations, and no safety guidance regarding fire exits or emergency procedures. We even spent time figuring out the remote-controlled curtains - we ignored the wall remote at first thinking it was for the lights or heating. A simple printed welcome guide and better maintenance would go a long way for future guests. I reported this to the management, and they were very open to feedback and told they would improve on this. :)

There was enough and the location was good

It waan’t very clean, not enough towels, and ants in the bathroom. It was quite dusty.
