Smell of bins on entry

We really liked the location, the size of the place and also all the facilities available (iron, coffee maker, hair dryer, ironing board and the AC)

We didn't like the wheelie bins at the entrance (but obviously that's not something that the apartment owners have no influence over). The place wasn't very clean.

Although the apartment is spacious and clean, I cannot recommend it based on my experience with the elevator and the staff.

We arrived at 10:30 p.m. and had specifically asked in advance for WhatsApp availability in case we had any problems accessing the apartment. When we arrived, the entrance was very dark, and the key box was not where the instructions said it would be. The staff did not respond on WhatsApp, and it was only by luck that someone eventually helped us and we managed to get inside. The staff only responded the following day. To make matters worse, the elevator broke down the next morning and was only repaired three days later. The apartment is on the fifth floor, so having no elevator was a major inconvenience. When I contacted the staff, they simply told me to find a notice hanging in the building and call the technician myself. I found this completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. And, last but not least, all the building’s garbage bins—around ten of them—are kept in the lobby, and every time you enter or leave the building, you are greeted by an awful smell. In short, I would recommend finding another apartment in the Jewish Quarter. The location is excellent, but I would definitely not recommend staying in this building.
