Wan Kumano by WhyKumano

Had the whole house to ourselves. Very clean and tidy. Was convenient having 2 toilets especially one near the upstairs bedroom. Instructions written in English was useful. Helpful to be able to do our basic food, breakfast. Was good having a microwave and quality cooking pot and pan.

Unfortunately, no toaster and not enough basic utensils like nonstick spatula for frying eggs. The bathroom needs a bit of renovation. We were dissapointed there were no yukatas which is the norm in Japan.

The location was excellent and the house was very clean.

The description of the houses contents is misleading. The only appliance in the kitchen was a micro wave and an electric kettle. The photos give the impression of a functioning kitchen, even with an exhaust range hood. The hosts description says the kitchenette is available for cooking and storing food. There were only three cups and glasses and knives and forks supplied. There is no capacity to prepare or cook food, not even plates or bowls of any description. This is a major reason we changed our booking to this venue and feel is over priced for the facilities presented.
