Fantastic location and had everything we needed for our stay

Needed a touch more of a clean … but I do clean super-yachts so I am incredibly fussy … too much furniture in main bedroom

The location is excellent; the lack of a parking space is noticeable, but since this is common in St Ives, it cannot really be considered a negative point. The master bedroom is truly special, with a beautiful view over the bay. It is very bright and the bed is exceptionally comfortable. You can tell that the property has been recently renovated and everything is spotlessly clean. Bathroom seems small from the picture but the shower is much bigger then expected.

Both mattresses in the second bedroom are of poor quality compared with the one in the master bedroom, and this significantly affected our comfort. Communicating with the owner or the managing agency is really complicated, as you have to go through a Whatsapp chat and they only guarantee a reply within 48 hours, which is useless in case of an emergency.

The property is located just above the harbour, between the sea front and fore street, the perfect place to be in St Ives. Inside, the cottage is clean and kitted out for families, everything you need is provided. It is clean and comfortable, and has a real homely feel.

No washing machine, that’s the only one thing we would add!

Excellent for the beach, difficult for the ambulance drivers to find us.
