Mulberry Cottage - Stunning 5 Bed in Wiltshire

Lots of space for all of us, plus a study for one of us that had to work. The beds were very comfortable.

The upstairs is not completely finished with missing skirting and open pipework, this didn't worry us

Great size, location, gorgeous open plan kitchen/lounge, good facilities

Not clean on arrival, bird poo all over the doors and large windows/doors. Windows filthy. Not good enough for the significant cost of stay

The cottage was spotless, fully equipped, and very comfortable. The hosts were extremely kind, responsive, and provided excellent service. We felt very welcome and enjoyed every moment of our stay. Highly recommended!

The downstairs rooms were great for a family get together. The patio doors however could do with blinds as by 10am in the morning the inside was like a green house and very unpleasant. Word of warning the hot tap I. The kitchen sink was scalding hot

There is so much which is wrong with this property, since a premium price is charged it is not presented as a premium property. The interior decoration is very poor with dirty walls, wood work poorly fitted and long overdue a paint, the ceiling in the snug is covered in water stains, there are significant cracks in the plaster all over. Outside has just not been finished and so feels as if you are arriving at a property which is still under construction. There was litter in the parking area and rubbish and an old toilet lying around at the back. The patio area and the track for the sliding doors were covered in bird mess and we witnessed an unsupervised dog from the neighbouring ménage foul the lawn we found more piles of old dog mess which had not been cleared up. The adjoining stables share access but no attempt had been made to fence off the outside areas to make them safe for small children or dogs. This property is not dog friendly. The patio steps lead up to a grassed area (not lawn) which was ok but there was access to the stabling through a gate that was left open by the horse riders when they rode their horses across in front of the patio area - complete disregard for the safety of the people in the cottage. The patio had inadequate outside seating for the size of the house and.the sun umbrella could not be moved to provide shade where it was needed. Even though the owners knew we were going to use the BBQ we had to clean rancid grease from it before it could be used.
