Excellent stay. Would stay again if opportunity arises.

Great location- the seaside is 2 min away. The locking and security system is very good as well. Staff- extremely welcoming staff, thanks Colin and the managers working under him. They were always one call away to answer any queries and questions Facilities - brand new towels, napkins, snacks to munch on. Cozy beds and had whole 3 rooms for my 4 people stay- 1 double bed, 1 king, 1 bunk bed. Value- absolutely worth it. I only had a day of stay. I would have loved to stay for a few more days considering how much easy it is to get around the town.

No microwave or to heat the food. Anyways Colin had already communicated this and also suggested a few spots to check out. So all good here. Just want to mention this here. Another thing would be lack of toiletries. Just mentioning because i didn't see any. Maybe I could have gotten them if i had asked for them.

Last minute life saver!

After finding out last minute that we couldnt get access to the caravan we had booked, we quickly searched for somewhere safe for my family to stay. When we arrived, the chap had made the room up for us, put out fresh towels, snacks for the kids and was the most friendly host I think weve ever had. He couldn't have been more accommodating. We all had a good rest after a long journey :) thank you for saving us on Friday!

The stairs were tricky for myself but I have a torn ankle ligament 😅 we needed the family room which was on the top floor.

A great stay

The owner was very welcoming on arrival. He showed us all we needed to know. We stayed for the night as we visited for the day at the beach. Great place to stay with everything we needed, bed, toilet, shower, kettle and tv. We brought our own cool box, which was handy for tea lovers, to keep our milk in. Lovely gesture left for us too, with biscuits and crisps. Great that the stay is dog friendly so we could bring our family dog.

We didn't Stay.

The host was very pleasant and goodness knows he's trying to be accommodating. His communication was good. He did offer to give us a complimentary stay, subject to availability.

The accommodation was not clean or safe, so we made our excuses and didn't stay the night. I thought about not leaving a review, because the the host was so nice and I didn't want to hurt his feelings, but I don't think it's fair on other potential guests. I have lost £90, but I guess I will just have to put it down to experience.

Toilet and shower was noisy and broken , bathroom light is automatic so everytime anyone used the bathroom in the night the light lit the whole room up for over half an hour each time waking the children

short stay, comfy bed, nice friendly host

really friendly and warm welcome from Colin when we got there showed us our room and introduced us to his dog, sweet little chap and gave us some information. kettle, cups and hot choc with a choice of snacks. clean bedding and towels. bathroom for our use only big and clean

although we had a quick inspection of cleanliness of the room and it looked ok, we needed to move the bed from the wall to get better access from both sides and there was quite a bit of rubbish down there easy fix for the future though just move the furniture more. not modern decoration good old anaglypta/woodchip on the walls but a good price.

We were over for a funeral and the host couldn't have done enough for us. He was so kind and thoughtful and went out of his way for us.

Lovely stay and would return.

The host Colin was super friendly and very accommodating. He even provided chocolate, biscuits and drinks for the kids with no extra charge. Our room was clean with fresh bedding and towels and the only reason we didn’t mark higher on the cleanliness is that some areas outside of our room needed a little attention, but painting was in progress and I’m confident that once completed it will be fine. Overall good value for a budget hotel.

Given the responsiveness and enthusiasm of the manager - disappointing that the overall impression was tatty.

The location of the property was perfect for the beach and promenade and all the attractions. The owner did his best to accommodate us and was responsive and friendly.

The rooms were in a state of renovation - they were not very clean, they were tatty, poorly decorated and unfinished. There was a kettle, but no beverages apart from some sickly coffee substitute. There were no bins. Couldn’t switch off certain lights and no chair(s). The bedding and towels were however brand new, but not enough for two people. I have honestly stayed in better quality student digs and I wouldn’t say the price was a bargain either.

I had a fantastic stay! The location was excellent—convenient and very pleasant. It truly exceeded my expectations. The management team was professional, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure a great experience. I highly recommend this place and would definitely return.
