Excellent location, ample secure parking, great furnishings and heating, nice kitchen, fantastic laundry & bathrooms.
Didn’t find a manual outlining some of the details, like how to work the tv in main lounge, and whereabouts little things were, like the salt & pepper which hid from us for three days (boys look?) :)

The house is in a quiet and pleasant street, within about 10 minutes walk from cafes and convenience stores (dairies as they are known in NZ).
The airport is around 15 minutes away by car.
There is ample parking behind a secure gate, and the house has keyless entry.
The owner had put the heating on for us prior to our arrival, so the house was warm, and it gets plenty of sunlight during the day as well. It is very clean and has all the basic kitchen equipment.
The owner responds promptly and courteously to any queries or problems.
The addition of a baby gate at the top of the stairs would make it safer for children, and people using the twin room. A handrail for the top flight of stairs would make it easier for people to get their luggage up or down the stairs.
More hooks in the bathroom for robes and toilet bags.
The wooden steps into the front entrance become icy and a bit slippery in frosty weather.

Facilities and amenities. Location. Swift communications with the owner. Will stay here again.
We liked everything! Would be 10/10 if there’s somewhere to hang our coats/ jackets. It rained a few days we were there so would be good to hang our wet coats on a coat/ hat stand by the front door.
