Nothing, everything was just comfortable.

Property was a lovely house, renovated and in a quiet neighbourhood street. Good kitchen, kids TV/Games room, large living and dining spaces and plenty of bedrooms. The ducted heating and cooling system was great to keep the house at a good temperature. Nice outdoor space for eating/relaxing.

The property needed a deep clean and regular cleaning to a higher standard. When we arrived there were a number of things that could have been much better to make our stay great. The BBQ was not cleaned from the previous guests. There was a half full glass of water and empty Panadol packet left on the master bedroom bedside table. Cooking pots in the kitchen were not clean. (we scrubbed them clean before use) Liquid stains on the wall behind the door in the master bedroom. Blood stain on the sheets in the master bedroom The 5th bedroom (renovated garage) didn't have a bathroom, so the person using this room had to come to the house to use a toilet/shower. The water tap in the outhouse room didn't seem to work IF the dishwasher and washing machine were being used in the house. But worked at other times.(strange) The 3rd bedroom bedding was meant to be a King bed, as advised by the host as default configuration, and requested by us, however it was set up as 2 x single beds. So we had to push them together. Multiple items left under the beds from previous guests. empty water bottle, lip balm, plastic bags, a sock. not enough water glasses for the size of the house. (we used coffee cups to drink water) the property owner also messaged with 2-3 hours notice that they would visit the property to put the bins out. This didn't sit well with us, as we were out for the day. We obviously had personal belongings in the house and would have preferred to be present. We don't know if the property owner entered the house or not as we were out. We would have preferred more notice or the opportunity to put the bins out ourselves. (which we were more than happy to do)
