The family who run sagga homestay are the best people to have around for your trip in the Mentawai’s.
hospitality is humbling and perfect for intermediate surfers who are looking for a consistent wave right out the front of there homestay that isn’t crowed too frequently.
it is only 10 mins from ht’s and lances left and a lot more affordable than staying in the resorts. less people and a homely atmosphere.
highly recommend.
the water on the island does have a smell to it but but that’s to be expected for island life.

Beautiful location, fun waves. The bungalows in the back are super spacious and big quiet and the bungalows in front are smaller, but beautiful right on the beach.
