M’ha agradat tot, molt bon lloc però una mica lluny de tot. L’anfitriona molt amable inla tranquilitat és insuperable

Tolle Unterkunft mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail mitten in der Natur. Gut erreichbar mit normalem PKW, der Weg ist ausgeschildert. Super Lage für einen Tagesausflug in den De Hoop Nationalpark. Auf jeden Fall den Sonnenuntergang am Lookout auf dem Gelände genießen. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Zimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet. Auf der eigenen Terrasse steht ein Grill inkl. Feuerholz (gegen ein kleines Entgelt) zur Verfügung. Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin, die sich mit viel Herzblut für diese besondere Landschaft engagiert. Kurzum: Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und würden immer wiederkommen.

My wife and I are both great nature lovers and for us this was the perfect place. It is off the beaten track with nature all around, but still with all the great comforts of civilization. Before arrival we were sent the routes and knew which roads to take (and which not!) so that was no problem. We had contact information of our hosts to arrange our arrival. The house itself is newly renovated, has a fully equiped kitchen, multiple bathrooms and toilets and very comfortable bed(room)s. All the little details with which the house is decorated are super nice, everywhere photographs of the wildlife that occurs around the house. For biologists there are fieldguides and species lists present which were well appreciated. And every evening we could observe barn owl chicks peeking out from their nesting box behind our kitchen. Lovely! It is the perfect place for people who want to explore the nearby De Hoop Nature Reserve or the Haarwegskloof Renosterveld Reserve.
