Moncur Villa, cozy and close golf course, self check in

Nice clean and cozy

Beautiful home with all the amenities we needed. Beds nice and comfy with warm bedding and lots of pillows. We booked in at the very last minute, and the property was available with instructions for self checkin straight away. Nice and clean. Wash and dryer came in handy for our overnight stay. Smart tv which allowed us to watch Netflix/ prime/ Disney+ etc…

The stairs are quite squeaky, but it didn’t bother us.

The house was very clean and tidy, being an old Lockwood, it was particularly noisy when people moved around, especially upstairs.

Unfortunately, milk was not supplied, so we couldn't have a cuppa when we first arrived. The upstairs toilet cistern does not work, and you are required to take off the lid and push the flush buttons that way. The outside deck is DANGEROUS and a potential health hazard. The decking is very old and there is a broken piece of decking causing a hole, and other boards are also rotten and saggy. There is also a metal structure screwed to the decking that has sharp edges. I can see no reason for it to be there. I would NOT allow children, elderly or heavy people to walk on this deck. I am sure it would not meet health and safety standards. We have taken photos of the decking and toilet cistern.
