Casa Bamboo central Funchal Villa

Maison au calme, sans vis à vis, bonne isolation. La terrasse avec transat et table pour manger dehors est un vrai + ! Le centre de Funchal est facilement accessible à pieds ainsi qu’un supermarché. Possibilité de garer gratuitement une voiture juste en bas de la maison. Merci à Vincent, Karen et Selina pour leur accueil et leur disponibilité (et le petit cadeau à l’arrivée), c’était super ! Je recommande ce logement.

Fantastic stay overall! The location is ideal - just a 5–10 minute walk to plenty of amenities, and with a bus stop right across the road that takes you straight to Monte Palace, which was incredibly convenient. Vincent was an exceptional host, providing proactive, clear, and helpful information both before we arrived and throughout our stay, which made everything seamless. The house itself is tucked away in a quiet spot behind the bus terminus, making it feel like a real home away from home. It was very well equipped with thoughtful touches like condiments, soap, bin bags, a washing machine, dishwasher, and a coffee machine with pods. We especially appreciated the comfort - four pillows on each bed, plus extra blankets, made a big difference. The main bedroom is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail, and while the second bedroom is also comfortable, it would be lovely to see that same decorative touch carried through. The air conditioning/heating units in each room were excellent, and the information book provided in the house was full of great tips and really enhanced our stay. It was fantastic to be given 2 sets of keys without having to ask. Would happily recommend and return!

The curtains are a light mesh style, which lets in a good amount of natural light. While they suit the aesthetic of the space, blackout curtains would be a great addition for those who prefer a darker room, especially for sleeping. There are also a number of steps leading up to the house, so it may be worth noting for anyone with accessibility considerations.
