Worst hotel ever

Starting with the room - bathroom was terrible, the bathroom drain was clogged and the bathroom was flooded all the time. We got two different kinds of pillows, so my husband was unlucky to get the uncomfortable one. But this was not the worst part. The walls in this hotel are mass of carton. So you basically hear everything happening in the room next to you and on the floor and at the reception desk. We heard the phone ringing at the reception like it was in our room. Because the room was next to the elevator, we were listening to all conversations happening in the night in front of our door. I would not recommend this hotel.

Very enjoyable and made so by facilities and the attentive staff at hotel.

Breakfast was very good with wide variety/choices available. Restaurant was also good with sensibly priced good quality freshly cooked food. Pool excellent although weather restrained use. Room very good subject to comment below.

Absence of enclosed wardrobe space in standard double room. Just open rails as Ibis etc. short term stay hotels, which Corfu Mare is not.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay with a few issues for disabled guests.

The staff were all fantastic and super attentive. The breakfast was outstanding, lots of choice and to a very high standard. The restaurant meals were absolutely delicious and some of the most tastiest meals I have had in a hotel. We ate there most nights it was that good.

Some purely constructive crticism from a disabled person's point of view. The bedroom is far too small, you can only just wheel the wheelchair along at the bottom of the bed to get to the other side. I had to then climb over the bed to get to the front of the wheelchair to get my husband into bed. The bathroom while spacious, a good hot shower with plentiful toiletries, there are not enough hand rails. There is only one that is shared between the toilet and the shower seat making it unsafe and inpractical for either use. Most disabled bathrooms have rails either side of the toilet AND either side of the shower seat. This would not stop us from staying again but it did make hard work for me assisting my husband with the toilet and the shower seat where he is normally quite independant with the appropiate aids.

Lovely place for a quiet getaway.

Excellent room, really nice pool area, a 30 min walk from Corfu Town and 10 mins drive from the airport. Breakfast was good. The staff are all amazing, especially Vasilis behind the bar, who is one of the hardest working barmen I’ve ever seen. We will definitely stay again.

Nothing, my only point is that we felt it was incorrectly judged to be a three star, it should be four.

The room room was very comfortable. The dinner and breakfast was excellent. The hotel is in an excellent location for Corfu Port.

Lovely adults only hotel.

The staff were nice and helpful, ordering us taxis when needed and providing advice. The hotel was modern and very clean. A couple of evenings we ate in the hotel restaurant, the food and service was excellent.

The location of the hotel was further away from the Old town than we expected and there were hardly any bars and restaurants close by.

Luxury hotel with fantastic staff who couldn’t have made us more welcome

Lovely hotel. Staff were fantastic. The pool was clean and not over crowded. Breakfast buffet was amazing and the quality of the food and drinks also very good.

It’s under the flight path so on some days planes would come over very frequently, usually only in the day but we were woken by some early flights. It was also just off the main road and a 45 min walk into Corfu town. But we founds lots of fantastic restaurants locally full of Greek people which was a plus if the location. As was the fact it was very near a bus stop so we could use local buses to explore the island.

Very nice welcome and helpful entrance staff. In the restaurant the staff was nice, the older lady was not really friendly and in a hurry it’s seemed! Young lady very polite and friendly. Food was good a bit salty on the prawns.

A lovely, friendly boutique hotel.

Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and varied. The dining area is clean and stylish. Nice pool with no shortage of beds. Lots of repeat guests which is a very good sign!

My room on 3rd floor was large & bright but was very tired and a bit grubby looking in parts. The hotel felt a lot further away from the old town and beaches than stated.

Nice premises either a hint of luxury.

I like the decor and the comfortable and relaxed feel of the hotel.

The location- it is on the flight path and all the taking off planes fly directly over the hotel until late at night and from early morning.

Home from home.

We have been coming to this wonderful hotel for the last 13 years. We see the same wonderful, amazing staff, which says it all. From the wonderful ladies on the front, to the bar staff, kitchen staff and cleaners. You are all a credit to the hotel. We can't thank you enough for always greeting us like family. We love the new refurbishment, absolutely beautiful. The breakfast is absolutely scrumptious. We look forward to seeing you all next year. Stay safe. Much love Nicky and Carl x

Lovely hotel near the Port

Beautiful, comfortable room with good view from balcony. Nice shower and bed. Very spacious. Pool, bar and restaurant was lovely with nice evening entertainment at the bar. The food from restaurant was delicious. Nice 24 hr reception area.

Near the port so it is 30min walk to the city. The add says spa and wellness but there was only a gym and the spa room for a massage was not ready. The massage is done by an external spa with a main base in town. I eventually went to the town base as the hotel spa room wasnt ready.

Great spot for a chilled city break

Facilities were great, very clean, nice pool, gym and sauna available and late checkout /use of facilities was spot on. The food and bar are decent too. Location is a nice walk (not via main road) to the port and town - quite straightforward but otherwise a €12 taxi or short ride if you have a bike

The pillows were so big and hard! However they were changed in a flash when I flagged it The flight path is over the top

Nice hotel, a bit on the expensive side.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was more than adequate. On-site parking available (which otherwise is a big problem in Corfu).

Elevator is an add-on to the building and is extremely hot all the time. Daily cleaning was not required by us, but was done regardless. The towels were also changed daily, even though we hung them on the racks (not very environmentally friendly).

One of the hottest and noisiest nights I’ve had!

Closeness to the port.

The small bathroom and the tired decor. The local electric station had an issue and the hotel generator didn’t kick in so we had a very hot and noisy night. Sadly no compensation provided in contrast to our last hotel in Greece who charged us 1 night instead of 2 when the AC broke down.

Lovely friendly staff throughout our stay. very clean albeit a bit dated in some areas. lovely small boutique hotel. small well maintained pool. wonderful evening meal catering for dietary needs.wished we’d stayed longer and no hesitation in recommending this property.

location… nothing nearby except port .. but this was just an overnight stay and if we’d stayed longer we would have explored and gone into town .
