Staff were accommodating and very helpful on places to visit in the town whether restaurants or museums to maximise our time in Oviedo
The property is not step free so a challenge for the elderly or this with young children and prams.

'original', I would call it a modern boutique hotel. just a house in a street, with a nice classic Asturian facade, but inside modern and with art designed.
Clean, spacy, excellent bath room, nice shopping street.
It was not the hotel with the spectacular garden and entrance, like some of the hotels have, but a city hotel you might miss passing by

Location was very convenient.
For a 5 star hotel the room lacked basic furniture and was not cared properly. Nothing reads lack of maintenance like walls full of scuff marks and dusty unclean closets. Personnel seemed like they were not happy to see us at all. Not one smile proffered during our 3 day stay.
