Hotel Wünschmann

Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Schönes Frühstücksbuffet. Die Lage sehr zentral.

Die Lage zur Nordsee oder zum Zentrum von Westerland ist hervorragend. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag gleich, aber für mich ausreichend. Etwas Abwechslung wäre beim Frühstück gut.

Das Frühstück war gut, die Lage des Hotels war nicht so gut. Das Personal war teils gut. Die Reinigung der Zimmer war OK.

Das Wetter

The location is great and breakfast starts early (7am). Both the room and bathroom were very clean. Staff was friendly and efficient. If you need anything while the reception is unmanned you can go to the neighboring hotel Roth where they're 24hrs/day. I didn't need anything but it's nice that the possibility exists.

No minibar or electric kettle in the room. Horrible bed - they have rubber bedsheets under the normal sheet. I woke up every day at least once because of that. Breakfast was in principle good, the staff was very friendly snd professional, but the quality of food offered and the selection was really subpar considering this is a fairly expensive hotel (>200€/night for my single room) - I had much better breakfast for eg at Dünnenberg and Wiking. Zero privacy on the balcony - the balcony is basically shared between neighboring rooms, only divided by a low, glass barrier which anybody, even a small child, could easily climb over...and enter your room, as in summer during the heatwave you obviously will leave your balcony door ajar.
