Thao Dien Coliving 2

Thao Dien Co Living is clean and peaceful, with a great location that still feels calm and relaxed. The host is very responsive and makes sure everything is well taken care of. There’s also a nice café right in front, which is a lovely bonus.

This property was exactly what I needed, well located in Thao Dien, away from the hustle of the city yet easily access to the city centre. Very clean and spacious with friendly and accommodating staff. Speedy wifi connection and great views of Landmark 81, the perfect evening office set up! Great value for money! Thank you for a lovely stay and for being so accommodating, I will be sure to return when I am next in the area.

There is no lift which wasn't an issue for me at all but it is something to consider incase of limited mobility!

I stayed in this studio for two months and honestly had a great experience. The place is exactly as shown in the photos, bright, comfortable, and really well maintained. The location is perfect: quiet enough to relax, but still close to cafés, shops, and everything you might need on a daily basis. The studio has a cozy, “at home” feel, and the cleaning/maintenance was always spot on. The team was also super friendly and responsive whenever I had a question, which made the stay even easier. Overall, it’s a great place for a long stay in HCMC. I would definitely come back!

Nothing, it was perfect!

I genuinely love the concept of Coliving with the option of having a private bathroom for an affordable price. Laundry is free and there’s decent equipment in the kitchen to cook. The area is safe and the neighbors are nice. I also really liked my flatmates!

My main issues were with the management. I have voiced my frustration with the lack of organization with the cleaning schedule and equipping cleaning supplies to support the flatmates in keeping the common areas clean. I had to buy my own supplies after asking repeatedly. Which I was not even compensated for. It is important to note that during my time the cleaning schedule was a disaster where they missed 2 cleanings (one cleaning a week for your room). No accountability was taken. I suggested in a lengthy letter to Booking.com that the management looks into hiring part time help to support the main cleaner because they have him cleaning 4 different buildings and that’s absolutely ridiculous. We’re all expected to support the cleaner instead of management supporting the cleaner by providing extra help. I don’t know if this consideration was taken seriously but on my last week, they did hire a cleaner when the main person was away on a trip. Overall, the manager/owner’s attitude did not make me feel safe and contributed to a lot of unnecessary stress. In addition, to the ongoing construction outside and multiple barking dogs in the backyard that woke me up multiple times even with ear plugs. I highly recommend shorter stays because ultimately the place is great and you won’t get to a point where you have to deal with a defensive manager.
