I stayed at Lovenote Hotel for 3 nights and honestly had a really good experience. I first found this hotel through TikTok after seeing another solo traveler staying here. The location might not be right in the city center, but for me it was totally fine. Most of the places I wanted to visit were only around 2–3 km away, so getting around was still pretty easy. My first impression was how spacious the room was, especially considering the very reasonable price. If you’re traveling as a couple, I think it would be even better value since you can split the cost. As someone who doesn’t speak the local language, I really appreciated that the staff could communicate in basic English and were always friendly and helpful. I was also surprised by how well-equipped the room was. They provided a generous amount of soap and shampoo, plus there was strong AC, a powerful fan, an iron, and a hairdryer. These little things made the stay much more comfortable. Overall, a very good option if you’re looking for an affordable, spacious and comfortable place to stay in Ho Chi Minh City. Would definitely consider staying here again.

I love everything except I am allergic to mold. The stairs to get access to the dorm are outside and narrow, making it difficult to get there given the fact that I am fairly fit. Besides these issues, it’s a beautiful place with beautiful staff and guests.

The amount of storage you got here was great. The locker was a good size and then the shelves and cupboard in the bunk area was wonderful. There are stairs, so be aware of that if travelling with bigger bags. They let me leave one of mine downstairs for the duration of my stay, which was very nice and much appreciated. The single con I experienced is that there was only one washroom for the whole dorm and one of the other guests would spend over an hour in there each day. Would definitely stay here again though.

Could do some cleaning/maintenance. Prob not too bad if you stay less than 4 nights
