Probably a lovely place to stay during the summer months

The lobby, restaurant, pool areas and rooms are very aesthetically pleasing. Everything was sparkling clean and the breakfast was one of the best ones I’ve ever had. The welcome drink made me very happy after the tiring trip.

I called the reception in advance to request restaurant opening times and availability in Marbella over the Christmas holidays and I was told there will be plenty to go, unfortunately I only realised when I arrived in the Christmas Eve that everything was closed. This was very disappointing and even getting takeout was difficult. The location is quite remote and you will need a car.

The Perfect Coastal Retreat... we’ll Be Back!

Fantastic new beachfront hotel — perfect for a sunny escape in the middle of winter. The staff are incredibly attentive and make sure every detail is just right, from the reception to the pool, bar, breakfast, evening restaurant, and housekeeping. The selection of products in the bathroom is also excellent. The hotel is spacious and airy, so it never feels crowded and the rooms are large and comfortable.

The only downsides are related to the room. First, the bed was a bit too firm for our taste. Second, the room felt a little poorly ventilated, as if there wasn’t enough fresh air. However, the positive aspects far outweigh these minor drawbacks.

The hotel was wonderful in all aspects. All of the food was incredible. The hotel grounds and the entire resort were impeccably kept up. The hotel staff were so attentive and helpful. I would definitely come back on my next trip to Marbella

I was disappointed that I was unable to use the spa facilities portion of my trip due to the renovations, as that was one of the main reasons I chose the resort. The staff was able to get a massage appointment scheduled for me in another room at the resort, and it was one of the best massages I have ever had.

Location near the beach. Pools are all amazing. Beach club is amazing makes the hotel a real enjoyable experience.

Dining staff were rude at times. Management and front desk staff were excellent very helpful and friendly. Older rooms not remodeled are not worth the money and smell bad. A little far from town a shuttle would be nice.

Lovely pool area, beautiful decor and rooms and friendly staff.

Adults only pool didn’t display this so had children in it through no fault of their own. The staff were lovely but a little unorganised leading to incorrect breakfasts and slow service. They didn’t explain anything on how things worked at breakfast and we were left waiting and having to ask for things on several occasions.

The breakfasts were extremely good with a good menu and a variety of alternatives with the buffet. The location for us was perfect. We didn’t really want to leave the hotel because it was so nice .

There were certain things in the hotel that weren’t available, which I had based my booking on. One being the hotel gym was not open, although they claimed before I went that it was. Also the beach club was not open yet, and they need to work on the quality of the food for lunch. I can’t comment on dinner as I did not have it, but the quality of the lunch ingredients did not match the high price tags.

Excellent pools in a good location

Excellent lovely room with comfy beds. Serving staff were all really nice and helpful. Room to change in after staying later at the pool is a great touch and hugely appreciated.

Old blood in the bath (we took a video and showed the staff but they didn't seem particularly bothered and said nothing would be done about it and we wouldn't receive any message from the manager). There was no option to book without breakfast on booking.com but we were charged for this on arrival. This is odd as I never book without breakfast but I accept maybe something went awry on booking.com. Food was ok but not quite what we've experienced for hotels in this range elsewhere, for example the lobster roll was 35 euros but barely had any lobster in. When we inquired we were told the chef realised they had run out of lobster tail but had served it anyways. Whoever made the chicken breast I asked for instead did an amazing job as it was delicious; just again slightly odd as I was told I wouldn't be charged for the lobster roll and asked if there was something I could have instead - then charged 26 euros for the chicken breast. Overall though I must say the staff were friendly and professional and the hotel is a good with great pools. It is simply that for premium hotels one is of course more critical.

A beautiful hotel with amazing staff

The breakfast was amazing, so much choice. In fact, all the food we ate in the hotel was excellent. What made our stay were the staff - they were fantastic and couldn't do enough to look after us. My wife has a severe nut allergy and they took the utmost care to ensure that she was well looked after, even making food separately for her. They are real credit to the hotel. The hotel has four swimming pools and they were maintained to a very high standard and cleaned every morning. The smallest pool was heated to a very pleasant temperature, meaning you could literally walk into it and start swimming. I was also impressed that they had a team of 3 or 4 lifeguards that watched over the pools. Our room was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a large bath tub, separate walk in shower cubicle, two sinks and a toilet, all very high quality. I believe all the rooms have their own terrace and it's worth paying the extra for a sea view, if you can. Although, read my note of caution, below, on choosing the right room to enjoy that view.

We paid extra for a sea view room but the first room we were given barely had a view of the sea. It reminded me of the famous line from Fawlty Towers where Mrs Richards states: "When I pay for a room with a view, I expect to see the sea," and Fawlty replies: "You CAN see the sea! It's over there, between the land and the sky!" To their credit, the hotel moved us to a better room the next day. If you want a proper sea view, insist on a room in the main central building, not the wings on either side. Our only other comment was the hotel's location. It's a 20-minute drive from Malaga airport, which is great, but it's also a 15-20 minute drive to reach central Marbella town, the port, etc. We hired a car for our trip but if you were relying on taxis, it would work out to be very expensive.

Best beach in Marbella. Amazing view of the ocean from the rooms

The hotel just opened after years of construction. Apparently I was one of the first few guests to stay there! My room had an amazing view of the ocean with a terrace. You also have access to a very private sandy beach just outside the resort where they are also building a beach club. We are definitely coming back once that opens!
