The caravan is in a great location on the site, only a few minutes from the beach with a wonderful view of the sunset. It is close to the club house, funfair and swimming pool, and has a small children's playground and football / basketball court right outside. There's a lovely path just a few minutes walk down the site with great views of the sea and cliffs. The site is about a 15-minute drive from Aberystwyth, and there's lots to do in the local area. I recommend the cliff railway and the costal path if you're a fan of heights and nice views. The property is nice and cosy and has 2 toilets, which was great for a family of 4. The master bedroom is quite roomy for a caravan of that size and has a small TV in it. The Internet connection was ok, which kept the kids happy. Keys are stored in a lock box at the front of the property, and the code was sent to us a few days in advance. This was great as it meant that we could leave the keys at the caravan when we went to the beach and could swim in the sea without worrying about losing them. Communication with the host was great - we had an issue with the TV areal, and this was fixed quickly once we reported it.

The caravan is in need of some TLC. Lots of cobwebs, especially on the decking, and one of the posts on the decking is broken, so it wouldn't be secure for a dog. The property is quite small, and some equipment (such as an old microwave and the broken table mentioned in other reviews) has been stored in the bottom of the wardrobes instead of being removed, meaning we weren't able to fully use the (already quite limited) space we had. The broken table has not been replaced, so we ended up using the footstool from the bedroom with a table mat on it as a makeshift side table in the living room. The broken blinds in the living room that have been mentioned in multiple other reviews have not been fixed, meaning there is absolutely no privacy at night when the lights are on. This was particularly disappointing as I had told the host in advance that we were intending on using the sofa bed in the living room. I had to use towels and bed sheets to fashion some curtains, which was not how I intended to start my holiday. The music from the fair / club house continues quite late. The football / basketball court isn't locked at the time it is supposed to (the sign says 7.30), so there can be noisy games going on until gone 10.30 in the evening. This didn't bother us so much, but it is worth bearing in mind if you're looking for a particularly peaceful break.

The location was excellent, with everything adults need and playgrounds for children, plus the beach was very close by

It wasn’t the cleanest also blinds missing in the lounge area so when closing at night was pointless because of the gaps, the blind in the main bedroom was broken too couldn’t open to let light in. I did contact the owner, they said new blinds had been ordered. Also need to look at the cleaning staff as lots of cobwebs in the property and dead flies in the lights, only 4 cups and plates when there was 6 of us so had to go buy a couple of cups there was no tin opener either which is an essential ☹️ The caravan was lovely but very tired, the out door decking was lovely and the views also, just needs a bit of an upgrade.
