The room itself is very pretty as in pictures, comfortable bed, very clean, also white Hôtel-like quality towels, bathroom specious compared to typical bathrooms in France, also the additional asks I had prior arriving were fulfilled, much appreciated.
- Big minus point in mid-summer as no AC: too hot to sleep and the fans available do not cool enough. Due to the hot and humid weather it was not possible to sleep at night. - Stairs inconvenient if carrying heavy bags. - The area feels safe but as a young solo traveller I would look for a location closer to the port. - No soap for hands or dishes - after arriving when it is very hot it would be important to wash hands. - One toilet paper roll, an extra roll would be important to provide especially when staying longer.

Karine is an excellent host and the communication with her was very good. The studio flat is at the top location in Marseille, a very popular area, and with excellent travel connections. It has a modern interior design with a personal touch. I liked the fashion magazines inside - such a great idea! Highly recommended.
