Poorly equipped room, bad ventilation, uncomfortable stay

There was nothing to like about this property

The pillows were in poor condition, the room did not have any towels when i came in, along with a broken hairdryer which did not work, there was no air conditioning or ventilation, additionally there was no fan to cool down during the summer which is when i visited

Great location, but disappointing stay.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center and within walking distance of many bars and restaurants. It’s easy to get to and from anywhere in the city, which is the main reason I chose to stay here. The neighborhood also felt safe, which was a big plus.

The room I received was not as shown in the photos. I had booked a twin room for two people, but upon check-in, I was told only a king bed was available unless I waited. so I waited. Eventually, we were given a very small room that was dirty, with a view of a wall from the window. To get a larger room with a better view, I had to pay extra. Even then, they forgot to provide basic essentials like towels and blankets. The booking listing stated that slippers, toothpaste, and toothbrushes would be provided, but when I asked, they said they didn’t have them. If you're a backpacker or budget traveler, be aware and manage your expectations before booking.

The hostel is located in a very central building, you will be close to almost everything, and there is a metro station nearby. It is currently undergoing renovations, which is good because it needs it, as it is a very old building. The sheets and pillows were clean and smelled freshly washed.

The room was ok, but the bathroom was not very clean, especially the shower.

Ok for a 6 hour stay, not more

Needs a fridge. I was told there were renovating - clearly this is not happening and needs to. They could just put a fridge for guests in the dining room. Simple

Disgusting and fithy illegal hostel.

Nothing to like. It is disgusting.

Staff was rude, hostel a mess full of filth and infection, smelling bad everywhere, water leaking, construction materials everywhere and noise, there was a living room that was reduced to 2-3 square meters like a box because the rest was occupied with filthy mattreses and again construction materials that I understood they are under reforming for 2 years and barely doing anything because the algerian workers are busy smoking all over the hotel instead of doing anything. A filthy business ran by filthy people. Maybe in algeria it is something normal to live in filth but sanitation in France would close it immediately if an insection would go. Not reccomandable.

The location is good but the place needs some repairs and cleaning.

The staff were friendly

Our first room there was fill of trash, bugs and insects. When we asked to change the room they gave us another room, it was much cleaner but both rooms had some technical problems in the bathroom.

For 20€ I can close and eye, but c'mon.......

The bed was comfortable, except for the fact that the materass was wrapped (under the sheets) in plastic. The position it is only five minutes walking to the main port.

The bathroom had rat holes under the shower. Noise all the night (voices). Materass wrapped in plastic and blood on the sheets. Strong smell of fresh painting.

the property is an old fresh house which is great, it was cheap for a days stay & has a kitchen.

the dorm downstairs is a bit stuffy and bathroom is mouldy.

It is almost a ruin, holes in the floor, walls and roof. the beds were awful, no rail for top bunk and it was unbeliveable shaky.
