The hosts were great - we had a personal tour of the village and we knew they were looking after us. The renovations to this historic old building have been carefully and considerately done. Loved the freshly picked flowers and the little step ladder to get in to the bed!
There were a few things in the apartment that were broken or not working. The apartment was great, but once these things are sorted and maintained, it would be even better.

Location, not too far from Pisa, and convenient for travelling within Tuscany. Fantastic host, informative and able to provide information; whether about transport, best places to see, recommended restaurants....
Only the mosquitoes!! Can't fault the area, property or hosts. My fault, I should've used the mosquito repellent more! Had a lovely impromptu evening meal in the garden, but omitted to cover up or use insect spray.
