Situated in a place with pretty decent connection to the city(es), with bus stops right down the road. Line 56 takes you to La Laguna bus station, Line 393 to Taco, where both tram lines and a bunch of other buses go through of. There's also a great bakery right there near the home that sells water jugs and eggs along with fresh baked goods. It's open every day. Bigger stores like Mercadona and Superdino were about a 15 minute walk away and it's possible to get on a bus back home, when you walk to the bus stop serviced by 393 and 56. On the home square, there's also a La Sobradillo bar full of friendly people, you can get nice drinks on weeknights (closed on weekends). A little walk away is a pharmacy with people that speak really nice english. The Home2Book team is very helpful and receptive, they fixed a window's broken hatch fast and also assisted with any other questions I had. The wifi password provided on the informative site for guests was incorrect, the real password is on a little white label on the router's backside. This was one of the things they did their best to solve, too. The place has two separate apartments, which was great for me, as the livelier ones could stay together in the bigger lot and I could have my own place with privacy, peace and quiet. Nice kitchen (had to steal some silverware from the bigger unit though) and solid little bathroom. Separate boilers for both units. I never ran out of hot water. Good wifi coverage, the smaller unit had a wifi extension. The separate washroom had essentials too. Sometimes the machine left things soapy, which usually happened with bathtowels. A second cycle fixed things. There are fleece blankets and a decent supply of bath towels. I also had resident geckos.

It is highly(!) advisable you bring warm pajamas and clothes with you. The house, while safe and cozy, does run cold and humid especially in winter months when it rains and the sun isn't there to heat things up. The unit has no heating. The Home2Book team did in the end solve the cold issue by giving radiators. Still, be prepared for some rather icy experiences, especially when showering. The road with bus stops that runs through the nearby square has plenty of traffic, including heavy machinery in daytime, so it's definitely not quiet during daytime. Nighttime it calms down, though, so sleep is pretty much uninterrupted. Be sure not to leave anything plugged into kitchen counter sockets, when there's a chance of rain! When the wind blows from a certain direction, rainwater seeps in from between the windows and leaves a puddle on the countertop. In front of electric sockets under that window. With the aforementioned issues (in particular the cold, but also the leaky window over electric sockets) I feel the accomodation's pricing was too much asked even from three people. Premium price for a housing, which was honestly quite far from premium.
