The apartment is in a very convenient location - 10 minutes walk to Princes St, 15 mins to Waverley Rail Station, 2-3 minutes walk to tram / bus stops. It's very well equipped - modern kitchen appliances, smart TV, good shower, 3 separate bins for recycling - and appears to have been recently refurbished. Keyless entry which is very easy and worked perfectly for us. There are several restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk of the apartment, as well as both Tesco Express and Sainsburys Local.
It's in an odd area - the entrance is down a very quiet cobbled lane and could be disconcerting for someone travelling alone and arriving after dark. The decor in the apartment is quite minimalist - no clock, hardly any pictures - so it felt a little bit soulless.

The apartment was amazing, so clean, so spacious. First time having a keyless apartment, really made a difference not having to carry a key around with us and worry about losing it. Would 100% stay again and will be back soon! Quiet and peaceful yet in a great location being close to a tram straight into the centre.
The doors are heavy and fire doors they slam shut.
