Brilliant

This was the second time we have stayed here and we loved it again. Property is spacious and clean, located in a great place just a few minutes from everything.

The only thing I could suggest to improve would be something to hold the doors open inside the apartment as they don’t stay open and they’re really heavy.

Great spacious property, very comfortable bed! Super location for getting around and seeing Edinburgh! Will definitely stay here again when we visit later in the year. Also, great being able to store bags around the corner in their other location with bag storage lock-up! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very clean, stylish, modern, comfortable apartment. Only quibble would be no microwave, though there was an oven and hob, a dishwasher and washing machine.

There were no scissors, and no coasters to protect the lovely dining table and coffee table.

The property was exceptionally clean and the location was within walking distance to the main attractions. Staff were very helpful. I will surely be back.

Really enjoyed our little stay here. The high standard of the apartment made it a home from home.

Lovely little apartment. Clean, modern and with all the facilities you need. Comfortable bed and nice hot shower. Liked the fact the heating was on at 21 on arrival making it feel cosy. Great location for the city and transport links.

Well worth the stay. Very impressed

Such a convenient place to stay in the middle of my trip. I was able to do all of my washing and drying, cook my own meals and feel very relaxed. The appliances were wonderful. Walking distance to main sights.

Amazing place to stay

The apartment is very spacious, confortable and has everything to cook. The bathroom is big and all the apartment was very clean. You can get to old town with 10 minuts walking, which is very good for the price.

Nothing to complain about. It is expensive, but Edinburgh is very expensive.

It was great and we felt safe.

It was nice to have a storage location for our luggage as we arrived before we could check in. Getting the access information ahead of time was very helpful. I loved the keycode entry system.

I was initially a little nervous about the storage location, but it turned out to be fine. My luggage felt vulnerable, even though it was locked.

Comfortable, good location

Clean, pretty quiet. 3 min walk to the tram stop, which made it easy to get to and from the airport. 20 min walk to Edinburgh castle. Kitchen equipped with cookery. Destiny Scotland answered my questions via email very promptly.

We wished there were door stops so we could hold doors open. Except for the bathroom door, they all shut by default and were hard to prop open. No outlets in the bathroom.

Very tired, not a place you are looking forward to returning to after a day out

Quite close to the Old town

The room was very barren and the couch and pillows had seen better days. Need for privacy blinds as neighbouring properties could see in. The feature of the room was the four bins!!! Recommended parking was a 25 minute walk away and quite expensive. Wouldn’t book again.

The stay at Canning Street Lane was average - I will book a carpeted room in a hotel next time.

The door codes were very convenient. The location was great. The washer/dryer was nice but very small. It was very spacious.

We were VERY DISAPPOINTED in the sounds heard at night and early in the morning. There are no sound buffers in the hallway/staircase and in the apt. We heard the people upstairs walking at all hours...due to lack of carpeting. The doors slammed in the hallway and echoed into our apt. Disappointed there were no instructions for the appliances and cooktop - very frustrating. We had to ask for a change of towels 3 times before we got them. We ran out of toilet paper and paper towels before we were re-stocked. The pillows on the bed were extremely flat and uncomfortable. And there was a definite lack of hangers in the closet. We had to double and triple-up clothing on the few hangers we had. For the price, the above was a bit aggravating.

Excellent location.

One of the bedrooms has a super king size together by 2 single beds. The agency refused to change the king-size bed to twin beds as requested. I don't understand why they refused! On arrival, the cleaner has just left. We can see the floor was wet. However, the room smells of dog, not nice.! Only one settee for 4 people! Not comfortable.

Great apartment & location but check the bed before you get in

Great location and large space. The kitchen had everything you could need with a full-size fridge-freezer. The bathroom was lovely, shower was perfect. Plenty of storage for luggage and had all the amenities you could need.

The apartment was clean except for the bed. The bedding had not been changed from previous guests. There were hairs all over the sheets, duvet, and pillows, with stains on the sheets as well. There was spare clean bedding in the utility cupboard that was tagged with an additional fee if opened. However, after speaking with Destiny and sending pictures we were not charged the additional fee (rightfully so) after changing the bedding ourselves. We were disappointed as after a long drive this is the last thing you want to do.

Good location near city center, updated modern apt with all the amenities. Modern system of entry made check in easy. Seemed like a new apartment.

Parking (if you can get it) isn't close. Homeless people sleeping across the alley in front of house.
