2 Bedroom Beautiful Home In Taden

A charming little cottage well located in the quiet and pretty village of Taden. Thoughtfully set up, very clean and well stocked kitchen equipment. Beds also comfortable and loved the characterful style. Jenny the housekeeper seemed friendly and helpful.

- The cottage is managed by a company called Novasol so despite booking thru booking com you then need to also login and manage the booking through the Novasol platform which wouldn't let you pay for everything at once. I think I had to enter my card details 4 times (booking com, then an initial deposit, a secondary payment, and then tourist tax on yet another platform). It worked eventually but was annoying. - Dangerously slippy stairs. The spiral staircase looks lovely but at least two of the steps are slanted down which, combined with the worn smooth texture, makes them lethal. We were very careful on these and still our daughter (3yo) fell down multiple times, as did my husband twice, I had several near misses. - linens (sheets&towels) not included, they can be added for an additional fee . We brought our own to avoid yet another transaction on Novasol. - front door sticks badly, you need to really slam it to close so it will lock- only my husband could do it consistently.
