Villa Heritage - Old Town - PRIVATE GARAGE

Dino war sehr freundlich, die Wohnung war sauber und geräumig. Die Garage war größer als wir dachten. Ein ŠKoda Octavia hat sehr gut reingepasst. Die Lage ist gut. Wenige Gehminuten zu Fußgängerzone. Wir würden nochmal die Wohnung mit der Garage nehmen 👍

Really cool and eclectic apartment just 10 minute walk down the hill to the center of old downtown. (2 floors, so we had an “upstairs” too.) Convenient enough that some of our family walked back for a midday nap. Very accessible yet out of the hustle of downtown. Having a garage space was especially helpful as streets packed with parked cars. Dino, our host, was helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Nice and quiet area .

The location was good in a quiet residential area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city and yet still easily reachable by walk of 15/20 minutes (to Baščaršija). The garage (around the back of the property) was very useful, without it, parking our car would have been a challenge. The inside of the property was clean. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed during our stay. There was a washing machine, which we made good use of.

We were a family of 5 and made a booking based on the fact that the property was advertised as having 2 bathrooms, however this was not true. A few weeks before our arrival, I asked the host, Dino, to confirm the bathroom situation and was told one of the bathrooms didn't have a shower or a bath, so it was not a bathroom, it only had a toilet and a wash basin, i.e. it was a toilet room. I wanted to Cancel the booking but felt it was too close to our arrival in the city to find another suitable accommodation. When we arrived at the property and met Dino, I was surprised by Dino's attitude when I said the property was incorrectly advertised, he just shrugged, like it was no Big deal. Well it was a Big deal for us! Dino, if you are reading this, please clearly state in the property description that it only has 1 bathroom and 1 toilet room (and not incorrectly as 2 bathrooms). I felt the property was not suitable for 5 people, the 2nd bedroom was very very small and there was virtually no room to move, the dining table was also too small for 5 people. There was a problem with the cleanliness of the balcony area, Dino was able to arrange the area to be cleaned, fairly quickly. I have visited Sarajevo many times, and know better properties are available closer to the old town, the key is booking early as they get booked quickly.
