Strong cigarette smell and overpowering diffusers made the apartment unusable

Unfortunately, I was unable to stay at this property despite having booked two nights. Upon arrival, the entire building had a very strong cigarette smell. The apartment is located on the fifth floor, which meant I had to pass through all five floors of the building in a constant cloud of cigarette smoke, making the situation even more uncomfortable and unavoidable. The apartment itself is renovated, but it is located in an old Soviet-style building that has not been renovated, which added to the overall unpleasant first impression. The location also did not suit me, although I had initially booked this place due to its proximity to my work-related meeting spot. Inside the apartment, there were two air diffusers emitting an extremely strong fragrance. The combination of the cigarette smell from the building and the overpowering diffusers inside made the apartment uncomfortable to the point of causing nausea. I tried to improve the situation by removing the diffusers and airing out the apartment, but with outside temperatures around –11°C, this was not realistically possible and the smell did not improve. As a result, I had to book alternative accommodation the same day and did not spend a single night here.

It was very clean. There are shampoo and conditioner. The kitchen facilities were good,especially the oven.The TV can watch Netflix etc.

It was on the 5th floor but there was no elevator, so it was difficult to carry the suitcases up. Well, if think of it as training and you’ll be fine.

Vilnius ist eine tolle Stadt, wir waren äußerst überrascht, welchen hohen europäischen Standard die Stadt nachweist. auch die Unterkunft sehr gut, mit guter Ausstattung

nach Ankunft und der telef. Kontaktaufnahme konnten wir keine Verbindung herstellen. der angerufene Teilnehmer hat zwischen 5-10 mal "hallo, hallo " geantwortet und dann aufgelegt. den Vorgang haben wir einige Male wiederholt mit dem gleichen Ergebnis ! dann der Versuch über booking. com eine KI Stimme mit der Frage ,wie sie helfen kann und welches Problem besteht, nach Schilderung des Problems fragte die gleiche Stimme nach Problem und Hilfe, nach dem Wiederholungsvorgang waren wir ziemlich ratlos und brachen ab. Wir standen auf der Straße , konnten nicht ins Haus ( Tür-code nicht erhalten, schon gar nicht Code für key-box ) die Zeit verging ,Wiederholungsversuche, wie oben beschrieben blieben ebenso erfolglos. nach ca. 1 Std. erfolglosen Bemühens sprachen wir zwei jüngere Herren, die das Haus betreten wollten an, schiderten unser Problem, die beiden Herren waren sichtlich irritiert, versprachen aber zuhelfen. Wir gaben ihnen die Tel.-Nummer, sie telef. und sagten im Anschluß, wir sollten uns etwas gedulden, sie kämen wieder ( ca. 20 -30 ). Die Herren kamen tatsächlich zurück , teilten uns den Türcode (Haus ) und Nummer des Appart. inclusive key-box code mit. somit konnten wir end- lich nach 2 Std. Wartezeit und sinnlosen Telefonaten unser gebuchtes Appartemant beziehen. die Immobilie wirkte sehr ! heruntergekommen,rein äußerlich,als auch die Treppenaufgänge : einzelne Etagenzugänge waren gesperrt (mit Brettern vernagelt oder mit Stahltüren verschlossen) ! Man hatte den Eindruck, die russische Besatzungszeit ist noch nicht beendet. Etwas versöhnlich dafür das gute Appartemant.

Antrą kartą apsistojau šiame bute ir vėl buvau maloniai nustebinta – pasitiko miela staigmena :) Jaučiuosi laukiama ir svarbi. Butas švarus, jaukus, jame yra visko, ko reikia patogiai viešnagei. Tikrai dar grįšiu!
