Il palazzo sino dal portone è bellissimo, un palazzo antico di Genova, con una scala in marmo stupenda e principesca. Il monolocale è totalmente nuovo all'interno, e, anche se le tonalità di grigio non conferiscono per il mio gusto lo charme che potrebbe avere, sicuramente la ristrutturazione è curata e ben fatta. L'aria condizionata funziona perfettamente, vi sono serramenti perfetti e a tenuta di rumore anche se si avvertono i "carretti" al mattino per le attività commerciali sottostanti, che però sono anche un ottimo presidio. La cucina è attrezzata anche se non ne ho usufruito e inoltre ho apprezzato le due bottiglie d'acqua e i fruttini di benvenuto :-). Tutto è nuovo, letto compreso. Le telecamere all'ingresso dal vicolo sono decisamente rassicuranti. La posizione funziona davvero molto bene. Oltre ad essere relativamente vicino alla stazione (15') ha, infatti, un importante vantaggio per me che, da qualche tempo, mi trovo a dover soggiornare a Genova per lavoro: è raggiungibile in taxi. Infatti molte strutture più immerse nei carrugi genovesi possono essere belle, anche con ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo ma, per una donna da sola non funzionano assolutamente perché "passeggiare" per i vicoli quando le attività commerciali sono chiuse (e comunque sono rade) o di sera, non è assolutamente piacevole e mette abbastanza a disagio.

Se vogliamo trovare qualche punto dire il collegamento WIFI della TV che non ha funzionato. Forse metterei dei cuscini più morbidi e più bassi, ma mi rendo conto che questa è una mia esigenza molto personale e inoltre le federe di cotone.

Posizione e pulizia della camera.

I loved the kind woman who communicated with me and was in charge of the apartment. She gave very clear and easy to follow instructions. She was also very friendly. The apartment itself was very modern clean and in a nice building with a beautiful entryway. The air conditioning worked really well during the heatwave and we were grateful.

I made this reservation because of all the positive reviews. I read all of them. I was shocked to arrive and discover it was not at all what I imagined. The apartment is located in an area where I didn’t feel safe walking around with my daughter. There were always police in the area monitoring the vicinity. Immediately when you get out of the apartment you are on a busy pedestrian road and parking area full of sellers and small shops. Not a lot of women in this area. Also the first day I went shopping for food and when I tried cooking, there were so many basic things missing like a sharp knife, scissors, cutting board, peeler. There were no serving bowls or plates. The kitchen is only there for show as it is only equipped to reheat food. The reason why we reserve apartments instead of hotels is so we can cook inside the apartment. I enjoy a firm mattress, but these mattresses where so firm that my hips and shoulders hurt when I was sleeping so I needed to constantly change positions. As a result we left with a soar back and neck. There was also a full length window but the view wasn’t nice. It was looking out onto the parking lot and you could see the freeway too and behind that the aquarium. If I left the window open for light, there was no privacy and the men in the road below would just look up into our window. I ended up hanging my bedsheet across the lower half to provide some privacy while allowing the light to pass through.
