Loved the view, the layout and the courtesy milk, butter & eggs.
No curtains or door between rooms and the road to the lodge was very narrow.

It is set in a beautiful location overlooking the countryside with great privacy. Ample car parking space with the added touch of butter, milk, eggs,chocolate, biscuits and crisps being left by the owner.the kitchen is very well kitted out with a good oven.
This is an ideal place for a winter break, tucked up inside the cabin with the wood burner on. However with 35 degree heat by the time you have returned from a day out enjoying beautiful Devon the place is an oven! Even with doors open it was unbearable and there was no fan! And when it gets dark, though still roasting you had to shut the doors because of the insects getting in.
There was also no hot water for the shower which to be fare with the heat was a blessing.
No iron or ironing board.

Spotlessly clean and smelt so fresh everywhere. Stunning views and stunning inside. It was so cosy and we all felt so relaxed - the log burner is fantastic. So many thoughtful extra touches which just made the experience even more special. We can’t wait to book again!
