Perched on a high-elevation ridge with a 180° panoramic view of the forest, valley, lake and city lights, this 1600 sq ft home offers the perfect balance of wilderness tranquility and urban convenience. Whether you are sipping local coffee on the massive newly built private deck or watching the sunset from the fire pit, your private sanctuary in the clouds awaits—just 10 minutes (3 miles) from the heart of downtown Asheville. Located on a road popular with the local bicyclists, joggers and dog walkers, this house allows guests to enjoy the comforts of home while experiencing the mountain-forest setting.
The space
Our home is a spacious, well-appointed 1960s ranch converted into a private duplex. Guest has exclusive access to the entire upper level, with two private entrances, while the lower level is reserved for owner use only. Everything is private and secured, with no shared indoor spaces. The home is beautifully decorated with local art and furniture.
