About this apartment rental
Sometimes a vacation means more than just relaxation.
For families with a child suffering from a life-shortening illness, it means spending time together, recharging, and simply leaving everyday life behind for a while.
In partnership with the Cuxhaven-Bremerhaven Children’s Hospice, the “Kleine Insel” was created—an accessible vacation home right on the North Sea.
Here, affected families find a place of peace where they can spend precious moments together.
Our outpatient children’s hospice service not only supports families at home but also stands by their side during their stay on the coast.
If needed, we provide counseling, connect families with available resources, or organize necessary support.
With every booking, you support this special project close to our hearts and help make a precious break by the sea possible for affected families.
Thank you so much for your wonderful support!
