That’s exactly what we’d like to offer you in our vacation rental in Cuxhaven-Döse, and we warmly welcome you.
The vacation rental is located in the Döse neighborhood. The beach is just 250 m away, near the beach shelter.
The apartment is located in a small Frisian house with three other apartments. It covers 49 m² and, in addition to a living room and bathroom, has two bedrooms. The apartment also features a west-facing balcony, which offers the ideal setting from noon, when the sun is out, until sunset.
Let’s take a mental tour of the apartment— I invite you to come along. The apartment is located on the first floor. Upon entering the apartment, you’ll first find a small entryway. Here you’ll also find a closet with useful items. A large mirror and a small shelf for hats, keys, and other small items are also provided.
To the right is the large bedroom. It’s furnished with a modern, large bed for two people. A built-in closet with plenty of storage space is available here. A flat-screen TV and DVD player are also built into this room.
Next to it is the small bedroom. Here, too, there is room for two people in a custom-made French-style bed. A dimmable light strip, as well as child-safe outlets and USB ports, round out the modern feel of this room. A large sliding-door closet with ample storage space, a large mirror, and drawers are part of this room. A small TV is available, as well as a collection of games. Across from it is the bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink. A shelf integrated into the tiles provides additional, spacious storage space in addition to the standard countertop area. A hair dryer is provided, along with a radiant heater that provides cozy warmth after a shower.
Now we enter the living and dining area—the largest room in the apartment. The left half of the room is furnished as a living room. A fireplace with a glass insert lends the room a tasteful ambiance. The sofa and armchair feature a special backrest design. They are taller, and the upper third can be individually adjusted to ensure exceptional seating comfort. A flat-screen TV, DVD player, CD player, and radio provide entertainment within the home. The vacation rental is equipped with high-speed internet, making streaming or working from home a breeze.
A large table with comfortable chairs is set up in the dining area. The kitchenette is equipped with a large refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee maker, an electric grill, a kettle, an oven, a stove, and a dishwasher. Of course, dishes and cooking utensils are also provided.
Overall, the apartment has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The floors are tiled throughout and create a warm, inviting atmosphere with their terracotta color.
A parking space for your car is located directly in front of the building.
A washing machine and dryer are available in the neighboring building. The basement also features a kids’ play area with a ping-pong table and a small ball pit.
We hope you won’t need it, but it’s good to know just in case: there’s a general practice two houses down.
We’ve already mentioned the short walk to the beach; in the town itself, there’s also a spa park with a small menagerie of animals, and you can watch them being fed. There are playgrounds nearby, and a sandbox with a small play structure right in the complex’s garden.
A walk to the Kugelbake is especially recommended now that the beach promenade has been expanded.

Our Vogelsand Residence is a beautiful vacation apartment complex consisting of an apartment building with 12 units and 3 separate Frisian-style houses, each with 4 apartments in Cuxhaven-Dose. It’s only about 200 m to the beach and the beach house. The complex features 24 vacation apartments for 1–4 people, each with 2 separate bedrooms. Coin-operated washing machines and dryers are available in the building.
Recreational activities: Game room with table tennis, foosball, and a ball pit; children’s playground; swimming and sauna facilities at one of the largest seawater wave pools, the Thalasso Center “Ahoi!” in the nearby district of Duhnen.
Bike rental at the Kurparkresidenz: H&P guests receive a 10% discount on standard bikes (excluding e-bikes). Beach chair rentals at especially favorable rates (while supplies last). Please reserve your beach chair in advance by phone. Check-in on Sundays and holidays from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
