Last minute minute choice but what a lovely little place 1 mile from the main area! Would definitely recommend and return Beautiful little pool

First of all, I want to clarify that I do not intend to criticize the character of the staff working here. They were always smiling and polite, and I never experienced any rude behavior from them. However, my stay here fell short of expectations. To begin with, there were significant discrepancies between the information listed on the booking site and the reality. For example, the “free bicycle rental” turned out to only apply to guests staying in private rooms — dormitory guests are required to pay 50,000 VND per day. While it's understandable that policies may change, this was not mentioned anywhere on the booking site, which I found quite unhelpful and misleading. Additionally, amenities such as a hairdryer, 24-hour front desk, and on-site bar were not available, even though they were listed online. I also tried to negotiate the motorbike rental terms, but my request was refused, and no alternative solutions or compromises were offered. Furthermore, the room I was given was completely different from the one I had booked. I reserved a 10-bed dormitory, but instead, I was placed in a tiny 2-square-meter room with a single bed and no windows. The bed was too small for my height, so I had to sleep with my body curled up. I asked to be moved to the dormitory as originally booked, but my request was denied. If for any reason a guest must be moved to a different room — especially if it’s a downgrade — I believe it is standard practice to ask for the guest’s approval in advance. Unfortunately, this did not happen. The room did have both an air conditioner and a fan, so I was able to sleep aside from constantly bumping either my head or feet against the walls due to the cramped space. However, the placement of the power outlet made it difficult to plug in devices without interfering with the room's light switch, which was inconvenient. Although the building appeared relatively new, the shower room and trash bins seemed to have not been cleaned for several days. When I checked in, used toilet paper and other waste were already piling up in the bins, and this situation remained unchanged throughout my stay. The breakfast was free, but it consisted of a single slice of toast with an egg — very minimal and again, below expectations. When I asked for recommendations for restaurants or places to eat, the staff were not able to provide helpful suggestions, and overall, I did not feel much hospitality during my stay. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hostel to backpackers. I hope the staff take this review seriously and that it helps improve the quality of their service in the future.
